Howard T. Ashwood and Nan Blankenship Ashwood of Sapulpa will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006.
They will be honored with a reception on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. in the second floor conference center at First United Bank, 315 E. Dewey, Sapulpa. The event will be hosted by their children and grandchildren.
The couple married Dec. 1, 1956, in Muskogee. Mr. Ashwood is retired from Ashwood Towing in Sapulpa.
Mrs. Ashwood is retired from First United Bank in Sapulpa.
They were blessed with four children: H.T. Ashwood and wife Debi of Muskogee, Gary Ashwood and wife Mary of Sapulpa, Nancy Murphy and husband Harold of Kellyville, and Chris Ashwood and wife Becky of Kiefer.
The couple has 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
