BEVERLY AND CONNIE RAMSEY

On Sunday afternoon, Aug. 13, 2006, the children of Connie and Beverly Ramsey will host a reception from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Depew First Methodist Church Annex to celebrate the couple's Golden Wedding Anniversary.

Family and friends are invited to come by and extend well wishes and participate in the celebration.

The couple were married on Aug. 18, 1956, in the Depew Methodist Church. Connie and Beverly have spent most of their lives in the Depew area.

Connie coached girls basketball in Depew for 14 years before taking a coaching and high school principal's position in Inola. Later he became superintendent of schools at Latta School in Ada and later in Maud and Prue. After retirement, Connie served as Gypsy School Superintendent.

Beverly also had a successful teaching career in elementary education and retired after 25 years of service.

Their children, Terry, Steve, Kevin and Tracy invite you to come by and say hello. No gifts please.

Terry and husband Greg McKee live in Cordell; Steve and his wife Laurie Ramsey live in Ardmore; Kevin and his wife Teresa Ramsey live in Sapulpa; Tracy and her husband Byran Lucas live in Seminole. They have 10 grandchildren including Whitney Fulmer, Mitchell Ramsey, Max Ramsey, Lindsey McKee, Lauren McKee, Logan McKee, Jordan Lucas, Baylee Lucas, Nicklaus Ramsey and Kyler Ramsey.
