Clark Waggoner Sr. and Sandy Waggoner, of Sapulpa, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 19, 2006.
The couple's four children hosted a reception in their honor July 14, 2006 at Collins Ballroom. Friends and family attended and enjoyed live music and dancing and shared tributes, memories and a replica of the couple's original wedding cake.
Clark and Sandy married July 19, 1966 in San Jose, Calif.
Sandy graduated from Ozark Bible College in Joplin, Mo. She enjoys quilting, sewing and gardening. She is employed part-time with Robinson Glass in Tulsa and Computer Works in Sapulpa.
Clark graduated from Ozark Bible College. He enjoys reading and traveling. He is the owner of Computer Works in Sapulpa.
The couple has four children, Christy Wheeler and her husband, Mike, Wendy Schwane and her husband, Joel, Clark Waggoner Jr. and Emily Waggoner, and seven grandsons, Anthony, Aaron, Ethan, Evan and Zeke Wheeler and Isiah and Joshua Schwane.
The couple will take an Alaskan cruise in September to celebrate their 40 years of marriage.
