LIGHTNERS CELEBRATE 25TH

On Feb. 15, 1957, Donald Lightner and Lovella Keeton were married at Airview Tabernacle, Assembly of God Church, west of Jenks. They were the first couple to be married in the newly completed church.

Satuday night, the couple's 25th anniversary was celebrated with family members attending Gaslite Theater, between Jenks and Broken Arrow. The event became a surprise party when several friends joined them for the celebration.

The surprise had been arranged by their children, Ed and his wife Connie, and their daughter Becky, a junior at Oklahoma State University. There is one granddaughter, Alissa, whose parents are the Ed Lightners.

The Lightners, who live at Glenpool, have attended regularly at the church where they were married and Mrs. Lightner is a Sunday School teacher.

They have lived at Glenpool continuously since their marriage. Other civic activities have included the Lions Club. He is a member and past president of Lions and she is a Lioness member.
