In celebration of the 25th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sherman Acree, an open house will be held March 1, 2 to 5 p.m. in the home of Mrs. Acree's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Les Mellenberger, 3524 West 42nd, Tulsa.
Acree and his wife, the former Maxine Mellenberger, were married Feb. 24, 1956 in Sapulpa's Glenwood Assembly of God Church. Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. A. T. Logue. They have lived all their married life in Sapulpa, and have two sons, Darin and Bret, both living at home.
Acree has been an employee at Liberty Glass Company since 1954. Mrs. Acree has been at Masters Nursery School since it was opened. She teaches four and five-year olds.
Assisting with the entertaining will be Mrs. Acree's sister, Brenda Ellis.
