TAYLOR HARDY

"TAYLOR HARDY IS HOME"

From "The Mannford Eagle," Mannford, Oklahoma, November 9, 1988

The story of the "miracle baby" Taylor Hardy is one that would touch old and young alike.

Taylor is the daughter of Rick and Norma (Tatum) Hardy of Graham, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Nora Tatum of Mannford.

The Hardy's were on vacation when Norma got sick and had to go to the hospital. She was eventually flown to Fort Worth, Texas, where she gave birth to Taylor. Taylor was born four months early and weighed only 1 lb. 1 oz. The doctors did not give her much of a chance to live.

"We never gave up on her. We just kept praying and asking God for a miracle to happen," said Mrs. Hardy.

Though the doctors gave her less than a ten percent chance to live, the family continued praying and the prayers were answered, as Taylor is now four months old and weighs 7 lbs. 3 oz.

"We thank the Lord for answering our prayers and want to thank the people of Mannford for all their love and prayers," said Hardy.
