"CATHER REUNION HELD"

The 18th Cather Reunion was held at Heyburn Lake Sunday, June 30th, with approximately 52 attending.

Present were Mrs. Inez Cather of the Drumright Nursing Home, who will be 101 years old July 8. Also 3 of her 4 sons, Archie and Bethia Cather of Cushing, Bob and Magalena Cather of Cleveland, and Lonnie and Oleva Cather of Kellyville.

Grandchildren and great great grandchildren were Bob and Pat Cather, Dennis and Lyla Bledsaw, Doyle, Vickie, Wayne, and Wendi Whittenburg all of Cleveland. Lisa Sheridan, Dallas, Tx., Samantha and Courtney Cather from Richardson, Tx. Ron, Pam, Lori, Megan, Josh and Jeremy Martin from New City, Kan.

Ralph and Pat Murrell of Winfield, Kan., Bryan and Cheryl Cather, Ronnie Cather of Tulsa, Robert and Renee Cather from Glenpool, Donnie and Robyn Cather of Woodward, Ok., Harold and Lois Rogers, Warren Wood, Dennis Wood and James Wood of Bristow, Roy and Deborah Rotromel and children of Silver City, Loreta Watkins of Kellyville, Wynn and Vinita Weathers of Norman, Rollon and Wanda Anderson of Bixby, Fred and Marilyn Robinson of Drumright.

There has been lots of activity and visiting at the Fred Robinson's.

They had lots of visitors here for the 17th Cather reunion and the celebration of Marilyn's grandmother's, Inez Cather, of the Drumright Nursing Home's 100th birthday.

There were 116 attending the celebration at Heyburn Lake, Sunday, July 8th.

Visiting Friday through Thursday were her uncle Jim and Ruth Cather and his four children from Townsend, Mont.; Rene Meshew, her grandson D.J. Vorte of Temple, Arizona; Del and Shirley and son Shane and three daughters from Moab, Utah; Linda Vega and Natallia of Alburquerque, New Mexico; Robin Cather, Dennis and Kelly Park of Grand Junction, Colo.; Doug Cather of Anchorage, Alaska; Barry, Billie and Rhonda Oakley of Fairfield, Mont. and Becky Oakely of Dallas, Texas.

Therefore if any of you have been wondering why all of the campers and trailers parked behind the Arco station, well, Marilyn ust had a few of the family in.
