"CLASS OF '57 HAS 30TH REUNION"

The Mannford High School Class of '57 held their 30th reunion on May 23, 1987 in the Community Center, commencing at 5:00 p.m.

The 14 class members present were: Clay Greenwood, Eldin Fisher and wife Barbara; Chester Collins and wife Thelma; Don Sissom and wife Joyce; Jess Carson and wife Patsy; Georgann Fender; Kay Bartley and husband Virgil, Julia Senter and husband Scott; Jean Freeman and husband Richard; Linda McFaddin and husband Marion; Kathryn Alsip and husband Bill; Marilee Spencer and husband Harold; and Yvonne Andersen and husband Gordon.

Those classmates who could not attend were: Wesley Collins, Denny Moreino, Jim Stockton, Glenda Morgan, Howard Sissom, and Marie Handley.

The Class of '57 visited about old times and the theme was the same as 30 years ago. Decorations consisted of white table cloths with center pieces of pink carnations. School colors were used with purple glasses and napkins with "Class of '57" imprinted.

Each woman was given a pink carnation for the memory of the Class of '57.

The meal was catered around 7:00 p.m. and records of the 50's provided the background music.

The following day, May 24, most classmates attended the Old Mannford Reunion at the Community Center to wind up a great week-end.
