Who said money doesn't grow on trees?

Mrs. James Price of Jennings, Oklahoma, always told her children when they were growing up that, "Money didn't grow on trees," but they all proved it did on Sunday, December 16, 1984.

A Christmas dinner was held for her at the Penn Oaks Community Room in Drumright, by her famly. A money tree was presented to her from her children.

Those attending were:

Bill and Audrey Thornhill and Donetta Price, Drumright.

Virginia and Areis Petitt and J.C., Toni, Joey and Jamie Price, Terlton.

Jeff and Holly Price, William and Eva Seward and Ada White of Jennings.

Leon, Kathy and Trina Price of Morrison.

Gina and Paul Price of Fairfax.

Nancy, Robbie and Chad Seward, Evelyn Hight and Jerry Don Spyres of Cleveland.

Larry, Vicki and Lacie Dooley and David Dooley, Ralston.

Also present were Mrs. Price's sister, Dollie Stroud from California and her brother Forest Hunt and his wife Rosella of Oilton.

Three other children who were unable to attend but were included in Mrs. Price's prayers were Elsie Thorp and family of Bloomington, California, Shirley Peterson and family of Cerrites, California, and J.D. Price and family of Yale, Oklahoma, as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A wonderful time was had by all and a Christmas to remember.
