Relatives of the late Rev. John and Emma Scheer, gathered in Drumright, Sunday, June 28th, for a family reunion.
The Rev. and Mrs. Scheer were long-time residents of Drumright and before moving from Drumright, the Rev. Scheer was pastor of the church at Schlegle.
The Scheer children attended the Drumright schools and Edna Scheer taught in the Drumright school system.
Daniel and Arnold Scheer graduated from Drumright High School in 1922. Arnold had made his home here until his death in 1977.
A number of the relatives arrived here in time to attend services at the First United Methodist Church, of which, many were former members.
Dinner was catered by Joseph's at the Masonic Hall with the afternoon spent visiting and picture taking.
That evening, the guests assembled in the home of Mary Scheer, where she and co-hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Kates, Cushing and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kellogg, Drumright served a buffet supper.

Davis, Jr., Baytown, Tx.; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Biswell, Doug, Scott and Miss Kim Kates, Cushing, Ok.; Mrs. Sheila Allee and Brian, Purcell, Ok.; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Pinkerton, Tulsa, Ok.; and Mrs. T.J. Hampton, McCloud, Ok.
Those attending from Drumright were: Mr. and Mrs. Clay Kellogg, Justin, Shelly and Kristin; Mrs. Ron Kellogg; and Mr. Kenneth Kellogg and Anthony.
