TOM STUMP

Thomas Burl Stump was born in Drumright, Ok. on August 6, 1931 to the parents of Flora and Otis Stump.

Tom attended Drumright Schools and graduated from Drumright High School.

Following graduation Tom went to work for Tydal Refinery.

In 1951 Tom joined the Air Force. He can tell many interesting stories. He was in England and many exciting places. He flew in airplanes who hunted hurricanes.

Returning to the state he went to work for Douglas Air Craft in Tulsa.

He married Lindsey Laffoon on December 25, 1955.

Before joining the Getty team, he worked as a mail carrier for the Drumright Post Office and for Kerr McGee in Cushing.

On Sept. 3, 1963, Tom came to work for Getty Oil Co. as a rousabout. Tom and Lindsey have two children, Tonya and Douglas, and they have been blessed with two grandchildren.

Tom enjoys hunting and fishing. He is planning a big fishing trip in the next few weeks.
