"HOLDERS PLAN ANNIVERSARY"

A reception Sunday, June 9, at the First Christian Church will mark the golden anniversary of Elmer and Rosemary Holder.

The Holders were married June 6, 1935 at Konowa, Oklahoma. They lived in Seminole, Yale and Stroud before moving back to their native area of Drumright in 1943. They have lived at 218 South Jones since that time.

Elmer retired from Sun Oil Company after 37 years in their employment having started with Mid-Continent Oil Company in 1936. In addition to being a homemaker, Rosemary worked at the former Nu-Way Grocery and Drumright Tag Agency. They have three daughters, Darla (Mrs. Bill) McPherson and Donna Taylor of Cushing and Carole (Mrs. Tommy) Arnold of Drumright. They have 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Rosemary's mother, Mrs. Mary Starr also lives in Cushing. The hosting children invite the Holder's friends to attend the 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. reception to share their anniversary celebration.
