"WHITES PLAN CELEBRATION"

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas White of 119 E. First are celebrating their 50th Anniversary, August 25th at the Drumright Civic Center at 510 S. Ohio St. between 2 and 4 pm.

They invite their friends to drop by and help them celebrate. No gifts please.

The reception is being hosted by Mr. White's sisters, Mrs. Oleta Hendzel, Mrs. Billie Wooten, Mrs. Eldean Gibson, and Mrs. Argusta Thomas all of Oklahoma City.

Mr. and Mrs. White were married August 31, 1935 in Drumright. She was Eva Penix, and worked for H.B. Martins Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. White had 6 children, only 3 survive. One daughter, Mary Tullock, Knotsville, Tennessee, two sons, Charles White of Ceritos, California, and Truman White of Lawndale, California.

They have 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

"WHITE'S 50TH ANNIVERSARY"

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas White celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary August 25th, at the Drumright Community Center. The affair was hosted by Eldean Gibson, Oklahoma City, sister of Mr. White.

The hall was decorated with large gold balloons tied in twos, clinging to the ceiling. Two tables with long lace trimmed table cloths were set up; on one was a gold money tree with yellow ribbons. On the other table was two punch bowls filled with punch. A beautiful wedding cake with 50 in gold on a pedestal in the middle and decorated with other gold bells and leaves baked by the hostess Eldean Gibson.

A basket of Daisies and Mums and yellow Carnations on the back wall behind the tables was big gold letters Golden Anniversary and a beautiful lace picture of two love birds made for the couple by Eldean Gibson.

Before serving Thanks was given by the couples son Chuck White. Mr. White's cousin Bill Goodwin of Cushing, took sound movies.

Wooten, Steve and Oletia Hendzel, Mike and Crystal Bardwin and Mike Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Pallock, Roy and Argusta Thomas, John, Debbie, Mike, Thomas, Koch, Eldean and Richard Gibson, David and Janice Pallock, Cheryel Pallock and children, Ronnie White, Laura and Barbra Jean White all of Oklahoma City, Matt, Tina, Joshan Pallock, Fred and Pauline Shirley, of Wichita, Kansas, Kelly Gibson, Myrl Dean Basinger, Cris Basinger and Terry Basinger of Dallas, Texas, Bobby Smith and Bill Nelley of Welston, Ok., Betty and Jack Hague of Harrah, Ok. and Charles H. White, Gardenia, Calif. Those sending cards and gifts who could not attend were Roxie Harrington, Drumright, Tom and Mae Austin, Techumci, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Dick, Eldorado, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Sheer and daughter, Peggy Ruth, Ruston, La., Mr. and Mrs. James Tulluck and family, Knoxville, Tenn., Clyde and Betty Allen, Cushing and Cook's Flowers, Drumright.
