Hampton Dailey was born to Sam and Mary Jane Dailey on Feb. 23, 1902 in Kentucky. He married Erma Violet Cornelison in 1919 in Marshall, Mo. To this union were born two sons: Wilfred Hamton and Jack Roland.
Hamp was a long-time resident of the Oilton area. He farmed and ranched for years in the Buckeye area. One of Hamp's interests was politics. He was active in politics for years on a county level. Several years were served as Creek County Commissioner, and part of that time he served as the chairman of the board of Commissioners. Hamp Daily was the County Commissioner responsible for starting the W.P.A. work in this area when Roosevelt was President. Part of his service to the public also included serving on the Buckeye School Board.
Another area of Hamp's life that was important to him was his spiritual relationship to God and the service that resulted from it. He was a member of the Oilton First Baptist Church for many years. While a member of this church, Hamp served in many different areas including being a Deacon in the church and Sunday School Superintendent. I remember as a young adult coming into the church here (and seeing) the interest Hamp showed in the young people.
Hamp Dailey died Jan. 30, 1986, in the Drumright Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. He was 83 yrs. old. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and two sisters.
Hamp is survived by 2 sons: Wilfred Dailey of Jennings and Jack Dailey of Pocatella, Idaho. He also leaves behind one sister, Sarah Corsaut; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Burial will be at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing. Funeral was held Sat. Feb. 1, 1986 at the Freewill Baptist in Oilton, under the direction of Peck Funeral Home.

H. H. DAILEY FUNERAL HELD
Hampton H. (Hamp) Dailey, 83, long time resident of the Buckeye Community between Silver City and Oilton, was given funeral services Saturday, February 1, in the Oilton First Baptist Church. The Rev. Ray Willis, pastor, officiated.
Burial was in Cushing Fiarlawn cemetery under the direction of Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Dailey, a retired rancher and former Creek County commissioner, died Thursday, January 30, in the Drumright Nursing Home where he had been a patient for two years. He was a member of the Oilton First Baptist Church.
Survivors are two sons, Wilfred Dailey, of Rt. 2, Jennings, and Jack Dailey, of Pocatella, Idaho; one sister, Sarah Zorsaut, and five grandchildren. Among the grandchildren is Mary Barton of Mannford.
Mortie Lee Dailey, 79, passed away July 6, 1985 at the Homestead Nursing Home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born March 9, 1906 near Silver City, Oklahoma. His parents were Sam and Mary Dailey and he had lived in the Olive and Drumright area all of his life.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 1985 in the Bailes Funeral Chapel, with Rev. George E. Brock, III officiating. Interment was in the North Cemetery, under the direction of Bailes Funeral Home.
Casketbearers were Ted Dailey, LeRoy Frailey, Everett Frailey, Seba Whitehead, Evan Whitehead and Edmond Spencer.

Mortey Dailey passed away. His funeral was held at Bailes Funeral Home last Tuesday. He was buried in Drumright Cemetery. Mortey was 79 years old. He had been in ill health for some time. He was born and raised around Olive community. He leaves two sisters, Sarah Cosourt of Pawhuska, who was able to attend the funeral; and Eva Marrs of Hobbs, New Mexico. One brother, Hampton Dailey, who is in the nursing home; two daughters in Tulsa, and many other relatives and lots of friends.
Mattie Joe Daniel, 67, passed away Monday, April 6, 1987. Services were held Thursday, April 9 at 2:30 p.m. under the direction of Moore Funeral Home. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Tulsa.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Daniel of Shamrock, Ok.; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Allegrezza and Mrs. Irene Bridge of Tulsa.
Surviving grandchildren include: Michael Hewitt, Nick Allegrezza & Debra High all of Tulsa; Dianne Meador of Turley; Marget, Jimmy and Tony Perkins, and Susie Brown all of Oklahoma City. Also , great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Hewitt & April High of Tulsa, Carrie, Richard, Daisa & Christina Meador of Tulsa; Amy and Amber Brewer, and Triesa Perkins of Oklahoma City.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. November 11, 1986, in the First United Methodist Church, Drumright, for Gene Daniels. He died November 8 at the Drumright Memorial Hospital.
Daniels was born June 11, 1911, at Colgate, Ok., and had moved to Drumright in 1923. On January 10, 1937, he was united in marriage to the former Freta Bossa and to this union were born two children, Roberta and Phillip. Phillip preceded his father in death on November 18, 1966.
Daniels was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Drumright and was past master of the Drumright Masonic Lodge #468. He was retired from the Independent Trucking Company.
The Rev. John Deller officiated with music provided by vocalist Donna Ryker and pianist Elaine Rainwater. Serving as pallbearers were Jerry Geyer, Eldon Rodebush, Bud Robertson, Keith Shideler, Bob Akers and Jack Scott.
Daniels is survived by his wife, Freta, of the home; daughter Roberta of Drumright; brother Phillip, of Drumright; three grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Committal prayer and interment was at the Oak Hill Cemetery Drumright with the funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Jack Edgar Davidson were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church in Drumright. The Rev. Mike Dumler officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Organist was Mary Ruth Cushenberry and vocalist was Lillian Umberham.
Pall bearers were Elmer Holder, L.R. Reasnor, O.S. Stephens, Bill DeShazo, Kenneth Sullivan and Burl Southward.
He was born at Braggs Station, Indian Territory, July 9, 1905, and died at his Drumright home, 128 E. Wood, on November 21.
He was a retired engineer from Mid-Continent Oil Company. He had been a resident of this area since 1939, moving here from Stroud. He and his wife, Ruby, were married August 24, 1924, at Sapulpa. He was a member of the Drumright First Christian Church.
Survivors are his wife Ruby of the Drumright home; sons Tom E. Davidson of Sinton, Texas, and Bob Eugene Davidson of Prescott, Arizona; sister Stella Little of Ranchito, Ca.; brother Homer Davidson of Bristow; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
Edith Davis, born May 9, 1902 in Aurora, Mo. to Nora and A.T. Nelson, died March 31, 1988, in thd Drumright Memorial Hospital at the age of 85.
Edith is preceded in death by her husband Earl; her parents; two brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Yahas, Ruey Childers, Imogene Hastings, Mary Nelson and Alberta Miller; and one brother, Guy Nelson.
Graveside services were held Friday, April 1, 1988 in the Highland Cemetery in Oilton at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Peck Funeral Home, Oilton.
Frances R. Davis, 77, Route 2, Cushing, died January 22 at her residence.
Funeral services were held January 24 at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. J.B. Shinn, pastor of the Nogales Avenue Baptist Church of Tulsa, officiating. Elaine Rainwater was pianist and singers were Beulah Cargill and Laverne Haskins.
Burial was in the Euchee Valley Memorial Park Cemetery with services under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Cushing.
The daughter of Dora Iven and the late John H. Iven, Davis was born September 7, 1907, in Bison, Oklahoma, which at that time was Indian Territory, in Garfield County.
She was reared and received her early education in that area and attended nurses school in Enid.
She was united in marriage to Robert E. Davis on February 20, 1928, in Enid. The couple lived several different places before coming to Cushing in 1972 after their retirement.
Survivors include her husband of almost 57 years, Robert E. Davis of the home; her mother Mrs. Dora Iven of Hennessey; son Rober L. Davis of Edmond; daughter Mrs. Floyd (Loyce) Sorrels of Cushing,; brother Leo Iven of Enid; sisters Mrs. Leona Berard of Hennessey, Mrs. Dorothy Jensen of Fort Scott, Kansas and Mrs. Catherine Shackleford of California; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Davis was preceded in death by her father, John H. Iven and one brother Oscar Iven.
Pall bearers were Craig Crowder, Robert L. Davis, Jr., Michael Davis, Robert Sorrels and Larry and Lonnie Cargill.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. September 1 for the Rev. Willard C. Day in the First Free Will Baptist Church at Fort Smith, Ark. The Rev. Day, a former pastor of the Drumright church, died August 29 at his home in Fort Smith following a long illness.
Officiating was the Rev. James Franklin of Cushing, assisted by the Rev. R.E. Pixley, the Rev. Murl Walker and the Rev. Tobb Jenkins. Forty-two fellow ministers sat in a body at the service.
A choir formed of members from the various churches pastored by Rev. Day presented special music. Representing the Drumright church were Doris Shoemaker and Wilma Mills.
A past executive secretary of the Free Will Baptist Association, Rev. Day served at churches in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri during his ministry. He also authored Sunday school text books.
He moved to Fort Smith in 1975 with his wife, Helen, where he pastored the Bethlehem Church until his retirement, at Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Harold Nichols, Bo Wilburn, Wendall Wilburn, Benny Pixley, Bo Salee and serving as honorary pallbearers were Wiley Nichols of Drumright, James Organ, J.F. Dipboyle, Elmer Galss (Glass?), J.F. Perry and Lonnie Hall of Sapulpa.
Interment was in the Gracelawn Cemetery at Van Buren.
Survivors in addition to his wife of the home are one daughter Shirley Waldo of Van Buren; sisters Pearl Wilkinson of Tulsa and Rosa Neal of Coweta, Ok. and four grandchildren, Teresa, Debbie, Kevin and Kim Waldo, all of Van Buren.
Attending the funeral from Drumright in addition to those mentioned were Mrs. Wiley Nichols and Roy Shoemaker. Also the Rev. Franklin, pastor of the Cushing church.
Vicki Ann Dean
Vicki Ann Dean, 20, of Washington, Okla., was formerly a Mannford, Okla. resident and a graduate of Mannford High School.
She was born on December 7, 1966 in Claremore and passed away on Friday, November 13, 1987 in Norman, Okla. Ms. Dean was the daughter of Jackie and Samantha Brown of Mannford.
She is survived by her daughter, Tara Nicole Dean, of the home; sisters Rebecca Kay Brown of Mannford; Nancy Lynn Brown, of Nowata, Okla., and Beth Hayes, of Snellville, Georgia; and one brother, Sgt. Alva Eugene Brown of Vicenza, Italy; maternal grandparents Harry and Maizelle Boyles of Mannford, and maternal great-grandmother Nannie Eversole of Cushing.
Ms. Dean was a member of the Yale Baptist Church.
Services were held at the Mannford Church of Christ Monday, November 16, at 1:00 p.m. with Minister James Scott officiating.
Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford.

Vicki Ann Dean, 20, formerly of Mannford, died Friday in Norman.
Born Dec. 7, 1966 in Claremore, she was a member of the Yale Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Tara Nicole Dean, of the home; her parents, Jackie and Samantha Brown of Mannford; three sisters, Rebecca Kay Brown of Mannford, Nancy Lynn Brown of Nowata and Beth Hayes of Snellville, Ga.; a brother, Sgt. Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. at Mannford Church of Christ with James Scott officiating.
Burial followed in Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
Funeral services for Annie DeBakey, 605 E. Broadway, Drumright, were held June 1, 10 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Marvin Boyles officiated. Music was provided by the Lights of Christ. Interment was in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing.
She was born February 7, 1896 in Lebanon and died May 30 in the Drumright Memorial Hospital, she was 88.
Since 1920 she has been a resident of Drumright. She is a retired merchant.
Survivors are a sister Rose DeBakey of Drumright and a btother Mark DeBakey of Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral arrangement were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held January 8, 1987, at 1:30 p.m. in the Followers Church, west of Drumright, for Harry Stanley DeLong, Sr. He died January 6.
The only child of Harry and Tessie McCoy DeLong, was born in Garber, Ok., July 4, 1921. He attended Drumright schools through high school. DeLong was a rig builder for his father for 15 years. He served three and one half years in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. DeLong and his wife, the former Betty Worthy of Cushing, were united in marriage on April 11, 1948, at Sapulpa. He worked for Kerr-McGee from 1952 until his retirment in 1982. His pastimes were hunting and fishing.
Officiating at his service was Gayle Ladd. Serving as pianist was Christy Worthy and Norman Ladd as vocalist. Pallbearers were Mark Sellers, Tony Burkey, Howard Arend, Harold Dorsey, Kent Linduff and Joe Lester.
DeLong is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; sons Harry Jr. and Jerry DeLong, both of rural Cushing; daughters Peggy Murfin of Stroud and Shiela Flannigan of Perry and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Interment was in the Flynn Memorial Cemetery with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home, Drumright.
Ida Hughes Denyer, 91 year old Edmond resident, passed away Saturday morning at the Edmond Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church of Edmond Monday, August 31, 1987 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Kyle V. Maxwell officiating. Burial followed in the Chandler Cemetery, Chandler, Ok. under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home, Edmond, Ok.
Mrs. Denyer was born on the 10th of December, 1985 (1895) on the family homestead, located in Indian Territory, west of the present City of Chandler. Her parents were John and Ella Gilmore.
A housewife and homemaker, Mrs. Denyer spent most of her time taking care of her family. As a young woman, she had taught school and also assisted her husband, the late Samuel A. Denyer with his law practice. She was a longtime resident of Drumright, Ok. where she was a member of the Drumright Christian Church. She moved to Edmond four years ago and joined the First Christian Church of Edmond.
Mrs. Denyer was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel A. Denyer and son, John T. Denyer.
Survivors include her three sons, Samuel A. Denyer of Oakville, Washington; Robert G. Denyer and William H. Denyer of Edmond; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church of Edmond, in memory of Mrs. Denyer, in lieu of flowers.

Mrs. Sam Denyer passed away. Her funeral was held in Chandler. She was also buried there. Sam Denyer was a lawyer in Drumright back in 1920. They were neighbors to Ben Russell for 40 years. Mr. Russell was a banker in Drumright. The first one I remember then Corn Sellers, Mr. Eyestone, Mr. Fowler and now Mr. Taylor. Mrs. Denyer leaves her relatives and lots of friends.
John J. "Jack" Denyer, 57, of Edmond, died Tuesday, Dec. 10th at his home in Edmond. Jack was born September 21, 1928 in Drumright, Ok. to Sam and Ida H. Denyer. He moved from Topeka, Kansas to Edmond in 1982, and was vice-president of First National Bank of Edmond. He received his B.S. in Agricultural Education from OSU in 1953 and Ms. from OSU in 1956, and in 1977 was appointed by President Carter to state director, USDA, Farmers Home Administrator in Topeka Kansas and received the Co-op Education Program Award from the University of Arkansas in 1979.

Jack is survived by wife Pan (Pam?) of the home, 2 daughters Dana Settle of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Marcy Denyer of Tempe, Arizona; three brothers, Bill and Bob both of Edmond and Sam of Oakville, Washington. Mother Ida Denyer of Edmond and one granddaughter Jessica Settle of Ft. Worth.

Addie Mae Devine
Addie Mae Devine passed away on Sunday, June 21, 1987 in her Mannford home. She was 69.
Mrs. Devine was born on January 6, 1918 in Marble City, Okla., to Matt and Lea (Frasier) Bledsaw. She had been a resident of Mannford since 1926. On December 8, 1935, she married Bruce Victor Devine in Mannford and was a member of the Church of God.
Services were held Tuesday, June 23, at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of God with the Rev. Al Nusz officiating. Interment was in Oakhill Cemetery under the direction of the Chapman-Black Funeral Home in Cleveland.
Mrs. Devine is survived by her husband, Bruce, of the home; one son, Floyd Darrel Devine, of Sand Springs; one daughter, Connie Jo Laxton, of Mannford; 5 brothers: Dennis Bledsaw of Cleveland; Sab Bledsaw of Hallett; Richard and Clarence Bledsaw, of Tulsa; Arnold Bledsaw of Vian; one sister, Della Crambrink, of Susanville, Calif., 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Tuesday, June 23, 1987 for Addie Mae Devine of Mannford. The Rev. Al Nutz officiated the service and interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery west of Mannford with Chapman Black Funeral Home in charge of the services.
Addie Mae was born in Marble City, Oklahoma on January 6, 1918. She was the daughter of Matt and Lea (Frazier) Bledsaw. She had been a Mannford resident since 1926.
On December 8, 1935 she married Bruce Devine of Mannford. She passed away Sunday, June 21, 1987 at the age of 69 years. She was affiliated with the Church of God of Mannford.
Survivors include her husband Bruce, of the home. One son, Floyd Devine of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; one daughter, Connie Jo Laxton of Mannford; five brothers: Dennis Bledsaw of Cleveland, Sab Bledsaw of Hallett, Richard and Clarence Bledsaw of Tulsa, and Arnold Bledsaw of Vian, Ok.; one sister, Della Crambrink of Susanville, California; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Barto, Walter, Dean, and Lonnie Bledsaw, and one sister, Dovie White.
Mr. Dee Donald Diamond passed away at the Drumright Nursing (Home) on October 29, 1985 at the age of 83. He was born in Cascade, Montana October 14, 1902.
He married Miss Thelma Gladys Woods March 18, 1925 at Drumright, and has lived in this area since that time. His wife proceeded him in death, March 19, 1978.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, having served as a Deacon. He worked for Sinclair Oil as a construction foreman until his retirement.
He is survived by one son, Don Diamond of Houston, Texas and one daughter, Mrs. Linda Fish also of Houston. Two sisters, Mrs. Doreen Fine of Drumright and Mrs. Frances Root of Houston. Also two brothers, Tom Tucker, Fremont, California and Al Tucker of Novato, California. Also five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 31st, 1985 with Reverend Mike Dumler officiating. Organist was Mrs. Mary Ruth Cushenberry. Soloist was Mrs. Linda Foster.
Pallbearers were Elmer Holder, Harold Dorsey, Robbie Dorsey, Gerald Dorsey, Harold Nichols and Bob Akers.
Interment was in the South Cemetery under the direction of Bailes Funeral Home.
Graveside services were held for longtime Drumright resident, Katie Dix, Monday, December 21, 1987 at 1:00 p.m. at the Drumright North Cemetery. Mrs. Dix died Saturday, December 19 at the Drumright Memorial Hospital. Officiating was James Warnock.
Katie Dix was born January 1, 1889 in Hutchinson, Kansas and had made Drumright her home since 1914. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church in Drumright. She had been a member of the Rebecca Lodge and Royal Neighbors.
Mrs. Dix was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Dix; one daughter, Dorothy Pickering; and one son, Bill Dix.
She is survived by four children - Zola Burgett, Lake Eufaula; Gladys Brill, Terrell, Texas; Richard Dix, Drumright; and Donald Gene Dix, Raleigh, North Carolina; eleven grandchildren and many friends.
Interment was in the Drumright North Cemetery with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.
Leonard Lee Doty died March 15 in the Drumright Memorial Hospital at the age of 71. He was born October 4, 1914 southeast of Oilton to Otto and Addie Doty.
He and the former Pearl Jane Strough were married July 3, 1943 in Skiatook.
Survivors include children Ronald Lee and Darrell Franklin both of Sapulpa and Donald Dean Doty of Jennings; Jackie Lou Doty of Drumright and Carol Frances Thrasher of Glenpool; brother Ray Doty and sisters Irene and Vera. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Hannah Bell.
Funeral services were held March 18 at the Olive Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Interment was in the Famly Cemetery under the direction of the Peck Funeral Home of Oilton.

We wish to extend our sympathy to the family of Mr. Leonard (Dude) Doty. Mr. Doty passed away on March 15th at the Drumright hospital. Mr. Doty had been in ill health for a long while. Mr. Doty's memorial services were conducted March 18 with burial on a hilltop near his home.
At the time of this writing, Mrs. Leonard (Pearly Jane) Doty is a patient in the City of Faith Hospital in Tulsa and is confined to the intensive care unit and is in critical condition.
Funeral services were held June 30, 1988 at 10 a.m. at the Recognized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Oilton, for Pearl Jane Doty. Pearl died June 27, 1988 at the St. Francis Medical Center, Tulsa. She was 62. Officiating was Jo Ann Wise and assisted by Coy Wise. Music was provided by vocalists Descygne Wise, Bert Wise and Marie Friend. Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Toland, Lynn Wells, Richard Ingraham, Leroy Johnson, Lloyd Tate and Donald Casey.
Pearl Jane Doty was born June 19, 1925 at Mannford, Oklahoma and had lived in this area all of her life. Pearl and her late husband, Leonard Lee Doty, were united in marriage on July 3, 1943 at Skiatook, Oklahoma. Leonard preceded her in death on March 15, 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Doty, Drumright and Donald Dean Doty, Jennings. Six grandchildren, Tabatha Doty and Amanda Kay Doty, both of Drumright, Ladinna Doty, Oilton, Diane Bryan, Pawnee, Jack Doty and Rebecca Doty, both of Drumright.
Interment was in their family cemetery on their farm east of Oilton with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mabel Douglass were held November 11, 1986, at 2 p.m. at the Oilton Methodist Church.
She was born June 17, 1908, to Fred and Claudia Ballard Warner in Illinois. She and Carl Douglass were united in marriage on December 24, 1925. They came to Oilton in 1946. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughters Norme (Norma?) Lewis of Oilton, Virginia Orr of Fort Worth, Texas, and Carl Douglass Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Peck Funeral Home.
Ellen Dowling, 75 of Camarillo, California passed away Monday, December 23, 1985, after a long illness.
Mrs. Dowling was born Ella Bell Lee, January 22, 1910 in Kiefer, Oklahoma.
Early in life she moved with her family to Drumright where she was raised and later married Daniel E. Dowling.
Mr. Dowling was fatally injured in an oilfield accident in 1941 and Mrs. Dowling and her small son moved to Oklahoma City with her mother.
Ellen Dowling worked at Douglas Air Force base during World War II and later for Oklahoma and Times Newspapers in the Classified department.
Mrs. Dowling moved to Thousand Oaks, California in 1977 and to Camarillo, California in January of 1985 where she passed away.
Survivors include one son, Robert Dowling of Camarillo, one sister, Mrs. A.E. Barnard, Corpas Christi, Texas, two brothers John F. Lee, OKC, and George W. Lee of Broken Arrow, Ok.
Graveside services are scheduled for December 28, at 10:00 in Woodlawn Cemetery at Claremore, Ok.
Graveside rites for Maude Marie Doyal will be held at Drumright's North Cemetery on July 28, at 6:30 p.m. She died July 16 at Los Angeles, California.
She was born July 23, 1906, in Pratt, Michigan, to M.E. and Della Rollins former residents of Drumright. She came to Drumright in 1925. She was the widow of Homer Doyal.
Survivors include daughter Mary Ellen Wallace, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren all of Los Angeles, California; sister Iola Belle Combs of Ellinwood, Kansas and brothers Robert Rollins of Ellinwood, Kansas and Gayle Rollins of Midwest City, Ok.
In lieu of flowers it has been asked that donations be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW memorial cancer fund.
Mannford resident, Bertha Duck, age 90, passed away Friday, Feb. 28th in Mannford. She was born August 1, 1895 in Oklahoma Indian Territory. She was married to John Fred Duck in 1915 in Pawnee, OK. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1984. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Oilton.
Mrs. Duck is survived by a daughter, Thelma Delora Greenfield, of Mannford; two sons, Glen F. Duck of Mounds, Okla., and Bob Duck of Kellyville, Okla., one brother, Bill Wails of Lake Keystone, and 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were at the General Baptist Church at Keystone at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 2, with the Rev. Ed Zickefoose officiating. Interment will be in the Sinnett Cemetery at Keystone, Okla. under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Home in Sand Springs.

Bertha Duck
Bertha Duck, 90, member of a pioneer Oklahoma family, was given funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 3, in the Keystone General Baptist Church. The Rev. Edward Zickefoose, pastor, officiated.
Burial was in Sinnett Cemetery with Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service handling arrangements.
Death occurred February 28 in Mannford. She was born August 1, 1895 in Indian Territory and was married to John Fred Duck in 1915 in Pawnee County. Most of her life was spent in Pawnee County until her move several years ago to Mannford where she has a daughter.
Her husband preceded her in death September 11, 1984. Mrs. Duck was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Oilton.
Survivors are a daughter and two sons, a brother, five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The daughter is Thelma DeLora Greenfield, Mannford; sons are Glen F. Duck of Mounds and Bob Duck of Kellyville. The brother is Bill Wails of Lake Keystone.
Georgie Addie Duck, 92, of Cleveland was given funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, in the Mobley-Dodson funeral chapel, Sand Springs.
The Rev. Richard McClure, pastor of the Westport Baptist, and the Rev. Edward Zickefoose, pastor of the Keystone General Baptist, were co-officiants. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery, Sand Springs.
Mrs. Duck, a widow, died Sunday, December 15, in Cleveland. She was born October 25, 1893 in Marianna, Miss., and was a long time resident of the Peninsula.
Survivors are several nieces and nephews.
John Fred Duck, age 90, a long time resident of the Keystone and Mannford areas, died Tuesday evening in the Bartlett Memorial Hospital in Sapulpa.
Duck was born on January 26, 1894 in Lincoln, Nebraska and was the son of Thomas W. and Elizabeth Lee Duck. He came to Oklahoma in 1902 and settled in the Keystone area where he lived until moving to Mannford in 1977.
He was united in marriage to Bertha Wails in Pawnee in 1915. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Oilton.
Survivors include his wife Bertha of the home in Mannford; a daughter Thelma Greenfield of Mannford; two sons Glen F. Duck of Mounds and Bob Duck of Kellyville; a sister, Mrs. Selina Okief of Keystone; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Duck were held Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. September 14, 1984, in the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Chapel in Sand Springs with the Rev. Edward Zickefoose officiating.
Interment followed in the Sinnett Cemetery in Keystone under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
Rev. Robert Eugene Duck
The Rev. Robert Eugene Duck, 61, of Kellyville, Okla., passed away on Saturday, January 2, 1988, in Sapulpa, Okla.
Rev. Duck was born on February 17, 1926 in Keystone, Okla., and on August 22, 1946 married June Wagoner in Independence, Kansas.
He was a member of Dearwood Faith-Fellowship-Word of Faith, and was a World War II Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, June, of the home; one daughter, Sandi Gilliam, of Oolagah, Okla.; one brother, Glen F. Duck, of Mounds, Okla., and three grandchildren, Jill, Jerod, and Jeremy.
Services were held at the Kellyville First Baptist church at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 1988, with the Rev. Ed Zickefoose and the Rev. Gene Hall officiating.
Place of interment was in the Duck Family Cemetery in Mounds, Okla.

Carl Duffy's mother, Nancy Duffy, of Cushing, died recently. Services were held September 3 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the New Born. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing.
Graveside services for Erbin Buford Duke, Drumright, were held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee. David Jolley of Tulsa officiated.
Duke was born in Farmersville, Texas September 30, 1908 and died Saturday at the Drumright Memorial Hospital. He was 75.
He had been a resident of this community for 30 years. Duke retired from Sun Oil Company in 1973.
Survivors include his wife Lovey of the home; step-children Danny Williams of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Lovella Evans of Tooele, Utah; sisters Jewel Stoner and Edith Stansberry both of Oklahoma City; brother Alvin Duke of Enid and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral services for John O. Dunegae, 77, of South 50th West Avenue, Tulsa, were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Glennwood Baptist Church. Dunegan (or Dunegan) was born in Ava, Mo. on April 23, 1907, and was the son of J.A. and Marie Ann Pence Dunegan. He was united in marriage to the former Mary E. Stoops in Vinita, Oklahoma, on August 24, 1930. He was affiliated with the Glennwood Baptist Church in Tulsa. He moved to Mannford when he was one year old and had been a resident of Tulsa since 1951. He was a former derrick man for Wadkins Drilling Company.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Dunegan of the home. Daughters Ann Cravens of Tulsa, Darlene Croke of Indianapolis, Ind., and Lyndia Grattopp of Chandler, Arizona. One sister, Esther Sebastian of Tulsa. Two brothers, Ora Dunegan of Mannford and Arlie Dunegan of Hulbert, Oklahoma. Also eight grandchildren and five great-granddaughters.
The Rev. Ernie Cecil officiated at the services. Interment was in the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
Graveside services were held Monday, November 18, 1985 at the Oilton Cemetery for longtime Drumright resident Mort Durbin. Mort died Thursday, November 14, 1985 at the Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa.
Mort was born September 22, 1927 at Drumright and had lived all but the last few years of his life here. For the past several years, Mort has been employed by the Mid-America Stock Yards in Bristow, Oklahoma.
His survivors include five brothers, Paul Durbin, Dallas, Texas, Lawrence Durbin, Houston, Missouri, Lloyd Durbin, Drumright, Kenneth Durbin, Mora, Louisiana, and James Durbin, Drumright. Three sisters, Mary Fleschute, Pearl and Katie Durbin, all of Drumright. A number of nieces and nephews.
Officiating at his service was Francis Boyer. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held for Joseph Samuel Durichek on December 22, 1984, and services for Tessie Irene Durichek were held on January 25, 1985. Both services were held at the Madison Funeral Home in Madison, Tennessee, with interment in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Tessie Irene Durichek was born May 5, 1919, and died January 22, 1985. She attended school at Pleasant Hill, east of Drumright where she was active in 4-H.
Among her survivors is a sister Rocksey Harrington of Shamrock.
William (Papa Bill) Guy Duvaul
William Guy Duvaul, 65, of Mannford, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 1988 at his home.
He was born on August 2, 1922 in Cimarron, Kansas. Mr. Duvaul was in construction for 20 years in Wichita, Ks. He spent 15 years as a retail merchant, also in the Wichita, Ks. area, prior to his retirement and relocation to Mannford three years ago.
He was a World War II Veteran and a member of the American Legion.
Mr. Duvaul married Verla Bentley, of Texas, on November 22, 1949, on her birthday.
He is survived by his wife, Verla, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Gerrie and Randal Adams, of Mannford, Okla.; one son, Gary Duvaul of Hutchison, Ks.; one brother, Edward Gaskill of Augusta, Ks., and one sister, Etta Hildreth, of Willows, Calif.; and four grandchildren: Craig Torkleson, Chris Torkleson, and John Adams, all of Mannford; and Jodie Duvaul, of Goddard, Ks.
Services wer held on Wednesday, March 2, 1988 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, with Pastor David Cressman officiating.
Interment was in the Oakhill Cemetery under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Home of Sand Springs.
Pallbearers were: Richard Rice, Willard Davis, and Jim Wheeler, all of Mannford; and Jerry Jenkins, Steve Vice and Art Schnatzmeyer, all of Kimberling City, Mo.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Legion Baseball Team, in care of Larry Yates, Rt. 1, Box 38, Mannford, Okla., 74044.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 1, 1987 at 3:00 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church, Cushing, for Willis Dyer, Jr. Willis died May 29, 1987 in the Drumright Memorial Hospital.
Officiating were Don Couch, Frank Cargill and Phil Webb. Music was provided by Sue Schaefer and Kay Couch. Serving as pallbearers were Joe Grady, Gene Brady, Bill Candler, Mark Doak, Bill Ledgerwood and Johnny Malernee. Honorary pallbearers were employees of the Cimarron Pipeline Construction Company.
Willis Dyer, Jr., was born June 10, 1926 in Drumright and had made his home here all of his life. Willis and his wife, Odessa, were united in marriage on December 10, 1950 in Drumright. Willis had served on the Oak Grove School Board for 15 years, was Past-President of the Drumright Rotary Club and was active on the First Assembly of God Church Board. Willis was a longtime employee of the Cimarron Pipeline Construction Company, Drumright. He was proceded in death by his mother, Allie Marie Dyer.
He is survived by his wife, Odessa, of the home, three sons, Ron Dyer, Cushing, Randy Dyer, Mannford and Russell Dyer of Drumright. His father and step-mother, W.W. and Iona Dyer, Drumright. Two brothers, Gene Dyer, Healdton, Ok., and Ray Dyer, Yale, Ok. Two step-sisters, June Fritz and Alberta Bonebrake. One grandson and three granddaughters.
Interment was in the Oakhill Cemetery, Drumright, with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.
