JAMES A FAGG
From the "News Derrick Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, March 21, 1984

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the New Home Baptist Church in Tulsa for James A. Fagg of Tulsa. The Rev. J.B. Chism officiated. Interment followed in the Sinnett Cemetery under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Home of Sand Springs.

Fagg was born July 14, 1909 in Keystone, Oklahoma to the late Alvin and Clara Day Fagg. He moved to Tulsa in 1917 where he has made his home since. He and Nellie Petterson were married on October 12, 1946 in Columbus, Missouri.

He was a retired machinist.

He is survived by his wife Nellie of the home; sons James and Thomas Fagg of Tulsa; brother Willis Fagg of Tulsa and three grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

FLORENCE O. FAIRES

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 1, for Florence O. Faires. Mrs. Faires died Sunday, September 29, at her home in the Oak Grove community. Mrs. Faires was born May 12, 1893 in Ottawa, Kansas and had lived in the Oak Grove community since moving there in 1913.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Smith Chapel with Rev. Lester Lundy officiating. Serving as organist was Wilma Mills.

Mrs. Faires was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Faires, her daughter, Chloya Neer, two sons, Gene Faires and Cecil Faires and one grandson. She is survived by two grandsons, Gary Faires and Tom Faires, both of Cushing, other relatives and many friends.

Interment was in the New Zion Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma. Funeral services were under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

GEORGE ELMER FARMER
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, May 13, 1987

George Elmer Farmer, age 60, of Rt. 3, Bristow, OK. passed away on May 9, 1987 at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Ok.

Services were held Tuesday, May 12, 1987 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunrise Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Pendergrass officiating. Interment was in the Magnolia Memorial Cemetery, Bristow, Ok. under the direction of Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home in Bristow, Ok.

Mr. Farmer was born September 29, 1926 in Wagoner, Ok. He lived in Santa Maria, Ca. most of his life before moving to the Bristow area 14 years ago. He attended school in Olive and graduated from Santa Maria in 1971. He and his wife went back to school to attain their diplomas later in life. Mr. Farmer was the warehouse foreman for Unit Rig and Equiptment of Tulsa the last 14 years.

He was a member of the Sunrise Baptist Church, Bristow Post of VFW and was a veteran of the Army in World War II.

Mr. Farmer married the former Mamie Mildred Bloesch on July 25, 1947 in Aromas, Ca.

Survivors include his wife Mildred of the home; his mother, Rosa Farmer, Bristow, Ok, sons: Wade Campbell, Lemoore, Ca.; Gary Farmer, Santa Maria, Ca.; and Steven Farmer, Barleson, Tx. Also his daughters: Mrs. Phyllis Reader, Sapulpa, Ok. and Mrs. Patti Robinson, Bristow, Ok.; brothers: Johnny Farmer, Okmulgee, Ok. and Leonard Farmer, Bristow, Ok. and his sisters: Mrs. Ethel Neal, Tulsa, Ok.; Mrs. Betty Keeling, Kiefer, Ok.; Mrs. Robert Phillips, Shamrock, Ok.; Mrs. Minnie Carr, Kiefer, Ok.; Mrs. Peggy Miller, Depew, Ok. and Mrs. Mary Armer, Phillips, Tx. Also 11 grandchildren.

Ollie Edna Farrow

Ollie Edna Farrow, born August 12, 1907, in Springfield, Missouri, passed away in her Cleveland home on Wednesday, May 6.

She was a cook at Mannford Public Schools and a member of the Mannford Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Twila Young, Mannford; Shirley Zickefoose, Cleveland, and Patricia Riley, also of Mannford; 8 sons, Floyd Farrow, Tecumseh, Ok., Billy Farrow, Bartlesville; Donald Farrow, DeQueen, Ark., J.W. Farrow, Sand Springs; Darrel Farrow, Terlton; Alvin Farrow, Terlton; Jesse Farrow, Mannford; one brother, Sherman Sutton, Pampa, Tx.; 33 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Saturday, May 9, at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Don Couch officiating. Interment was in Okahill Cemetery under the direction of Mobley-Dodson.

BEULAH N. "WOOLSEY" FAULKNER

Beulah N. "Woolsey" Faulkner

Beulah N. "Woolsey" Faulkner of 4909 Greenon Drive, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, was born on June 21, 1899. She departed this life on December 6, 1986, and is now asleep in the arms of Jesus.

She was a member of Lawnwood Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Terry and Tom Bearric of the home and a son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Beverly Woolsey of Leesville, Louisiana (formerly Mannford residents). Three grandsons, seven granddaughters and 22 great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in Farmer Cemetery, North of Graham, Texas under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Home of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

LEAH BELLE FELTS
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, January 28, 1987

Leah Belle Felts, 80, of Tulsa, died January 19, 1987. She was born in Gilmore Indian Territory, Oklahoma, to Sherman J. and Clara B. Chronister September 19, 1906.

She was married to Ray L. Felts on December 24, 1925. He preceded her in death in 1983.

She is survived by her sons, Ray L. of Tulsa and Jerry O. Felts of Hobbs, N.M.; daughter, Donna Dixon of Drumright; brothers, Jewell of Cameron, Ok., and John Chronister of Drumright; sisters, Florence Walker of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Del (LaNell) Zahn of Tulsa; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. January 21 at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel in Tulsa with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ray Felts worked at Tidewater Refinery here for 28 years and they operated a grocery store on W. Broadway for 12 years. She was a long time member of the Church of Christ.

ROBBIN SUE AND RESHELLE GOLDIE FERGUSON

Robbin Sue and Reshelle Goldie Ferguson, infant twins of Robert and Shelly Ferguson were born at Cushing May 23, 1986, and died May 24 at the St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Survivors besides the parents are grandparents Bill and Sue Ferguson and David and Margaret Sellers of Drumright, Ok. Great-grandparents Adolf and Doris Petchinsky of Shawnee, Ok., Elmer and Johnnie Ferguson of Wewoka, Ok., Albert Shelley of Klamath Falls, Oregon. Also Lawanda and Clark Rees of Chiloquin, Oregon and James Sellers of Drumright, Ok. And great-great-grandmother Merle Nugent of Beaver Creek, Oregon and other relatives.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. May 26 at the South Cemetery with the Rev. George Brock officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Bailes Funeral Home.

SARAH CLYDE FERGUSON
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, December 2, 1987

Sarah Clyde Ferguson, born January 12, 1905 in Gainesboro, Tennessee died Friday, November 27 in St. Johns Medical Center, Tulsa, at the age of 84 years.

Sarah married Enoch Reid Ferguson August 30, 1919 in Gainesboro. From this union are five children: Goldie Doolin of Drumright; Irene Robertson of Bixby; Harold Ferguson of Tulsa; and Bill Ferguson of Independence, Kansas. One son, Paul Eugene preceded her in death, also E.R., her husband, on October 10, 1968 and one grandson, E.P. Robertson.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and several neices and nephews.

She had lived in the Drumright and Oilton area since 1919, in Oilton for 33 years.

Services were held Monday, November 30 at 10 a.m. Graveside was in Oakhill Cemetery, Drumright, under the direction of Peck Funeral Home in Oilton.

THELMA LORINE FERGUSON

Thelma Ferguson

Graveside services were held April 15, 1986 at 2 p.m. in the Drumright North Cemetery for Thelma Lorine Ferguson. Glenn Harvil officiated.

Ferguson died April 11 at her home in Stilwell, Ok., where she had lived the past 15 years.

She was born March 14, 1914, in Texas. And was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Her survivors include her husband Louis Ferguson, a nephew in Broken Arrow and other friends and relatives.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

MAUDE MAE FERRELL

Maudie Mae Ferrell of Benton, Arkansas and former Drumright resident, passed away Thursday, June 4, 1987 at Little Rock, Ark. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 6, 1987 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ashby Funeral Home, Benton, Ark.

Maudie Mae Ferrell was born July 31, 1926 in Drumright, Ok. to Andrew and Etta Mae Tucker. She received her school education attending Lincoln Grade School for eight years and attending and graduating from Drumright High School in 1944. She attended Central Baptist College in Conway, Ark. prior to her marriage to Jesse Lee Ferrell on April 27, 1946, in Fort Smith, Ark.

She was a member of the Carrizo Springs Garden Club, the Delta Kappa Gamma Social Sorority, Carrizo Springs, Tx. Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Board of Directors; was on the general board of the March of Dimes; and a working member of several Professional Women's Organizations in the Big Wells and Carrizo Springs, Tx. area.

Maudie also served as manager of the Department Store, Riskins, in Carrizo Springs, Tx. prior to moving to the Benton, Ark. community four years ago upon the retirement of her husband, Jess, from Sun Oil Company.

Officiating Clergymen were Rev. L.D. Campbell, first cousin of the deceased, of United Missionary Baptist Church, Benton, Ark.; Rev. Russell L. Dailey of Kentucky Baptist Church, Benton, Ark.; and Dr. Randel Everett of First Baptist Church, Benton, Ark.

Music was provided by Sarabel Leech as organist with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry A. Gay as soloists. Selections chosen were: 'One Day At A Time'; 'Because He Lives'; 'Amazing Grace'; 'His Eye Is On The Sparrow'; and 'The Lord's Prayer.'

Pallbearers were: Lee Allen, Homer L. Moore, Norman Spells, Harry Stockman, Clinton S. Tinkle, and C.O. Tittle.

Honorary Pallbearers were: Jack Badger, Charles E. Daniel, Jimmy M. Dover, Scotty Geurin, C. Hayden Gibson, Kelly Harvill, Cleo J. Hutchison, Fred Joseph, George H. Joseph, Tom D. Kiser, Johnnie W. Martin, Stuart J. Meyer, M.D., Bill Scrivner, David Tinkle, Burkie E. Walker and John M. Watson.

Preceding Mrs. Ferrell in death were her father, Andrew Jackson Tucker, her mother, Etta Mae Tinkle Tucker, both of Drumright, Ok. and an infant sister, Opal, of Benton, Ark.

Survivors include her husband, Jess, of the home; her brother and his wife, James and Carolyn Tucker of Bairoil, Wyoming; and two sisters, Evadee Georgia Drake of Drumright, Ok. and Wanda Arvilla and her husband, O.F. Warren of Tulsa, Ok.

Also, three nieces, Michelle Kay and her husband, Norman Spells of Ingleside, Tx.; Kimberle Dee and her husband, Stuart Jackson Meyer M.D., of Tuttle, Ok.; and Melinda Lea Marshall of Austin, Tx. Two nephews, Michael Andrew Drake of Oklahoma City, Ok. and Mark Bernerd Drake of Benton, Ark. Four great-nieces, Amanda Ashley and Allyson Spells of Ingleside, Tx. and Grace Elizabeth Laurel Meyer of Tuttle, Ok. Two great-nephews, Marshall Jackson and Evan Christopher Meyer of Tuttle, Ok. Plus a host of loving cousins and friends.

Interment was in the Kentucky Church Cemetery Benton, Ark. under the direction of Ashby's Funeral Home, Benton, Ark.

NORA J. FERRELL
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, October 22, 1986

Nora J. Menicus Ferrell, 304 N. Skinner, Drumright, died October 17, 1986 at the Drumright Memorial Hospital at the age of 91. She was born December 30, 1894, at Macks Creek, Mo., to John and Margaret Menicus.

She and Emery Ferrell were married February 11, 1917, and moved to the Pleasant Hill community, later to Drumright. Ferrell and one son James Willard preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son Jess of Benton, Arkansas, and one sister Callie King of Los Angeles, Calif.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. October 20 in the Bailes Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Esther L. Dillon, Church of God Drumright and Harley Streets, officiating.

Pallbearers were C.E. Flewellen, Elmer Holder, Gail Bear, Robert Carter, Bill Ferguson and John Harris.

Interment was in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing, under the direction of the Bailes Funeral Home.

OSCAR ALLEN FIELDS
From "The Mannford Eagle," Mannford, Oklahoma, February 4, 1987

Oscar Allen Fields, 62, of Mannford died Monday in Tulsa.

Mr. Fields was born on June 18, 1924, in Foyil and was united in marriage with Iva Smithey on Sept. 3, 1950, in Claremore. He was affiliated with the Tulsa Boy's Home for more than eight years and had been employed previously at Southwestern Porcelain. He was a member of the Mannford Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Fields was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Iva Fields of the home; one son, Bart Westby of Albany, Ore.; one grandchild; and two brothers, Ernest E. Fields of Oregon and Ira Arthur Fields of Cleveland.

Graveside services were at 10 a.m. on Friday at Wards Grove Cemetery near Foyil with arrangements by Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

REVEREND SADIE FINCHER

Rev. Sadie Fincher, former pastor of the Olive Free Will Baptist Church and Silver City Free Will Baptist Church, died Saturday, April 18, 1987, at Jenks. She was 92.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 20 at West Tulsa Free Will Baptist Church. Burial was held at 4:00 p.m. in Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, Ok. under the direction of Moore's Eastlawn Funeral Home.

She was born July 10, 1894 in Indian Territory, Ok. and was the daughter of Pat Gleason and Olive (Townsend) Gleason.

She was a member of the West Tulsa Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Lois Carpenter Buoy of Tulsa, Ok.; a foster daughter, Izetta Gilbert of Muskogee, Ok.; a sister, Etta Ward of Tulsa, Ok.; a sister-in-law, Doris Gleason of Drumright, Ok.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clint J. Fincher.

ALBERT E. FINDLEY
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, August 24, 1988

Albert E. Findley of Cleveland, Ok., born June 7, 1908 in Dixie, Ok. of Elmer and Minnie Findley, expired August the 17th, 1988, at the age of 80 years 2 months and 10 days.

Albert Findley married Bernece Duck, April 4, 1953 in Keystone, Oklahoma.

He was a memember of the Westport Baptist Church. Served in World War II in Germany with 358th Infantry as a medic. He was a 32nd Degree Mason of Hebron Lodge. He served on the Board of Directors of Indian Electric for 19 years, served on Soil Conservation Board for 25 years, and was a Charter Member on Board on Rural Water District #1. He served as director of Hospital Board for Cleveland Hospital. He was a retired school teacher, farmer and rancher.

He is survived by: wife, Bernece of the home; sister, Ruth Moore of Raliegh, NC., five nephews and 3 nieces.

He was a graduate of Cleveland Schools and attended Oklahoma A&M.

Services were held for Albert E. Findley August 20th, 1988 at 10:00 a.m. at Westport Baptist Church. Place of interment, Woodland Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Dale Gowdy.

DOREEN FINE
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, February 17, 1988

Mrs. Doreen Diamond Fine, age 83, passed away February 12, 1988 at the Drumright Nursing Home. She was born March 1, 1904 at Cascade, Montana. Her parents were the late Alancin and Hettie Fine.

She was united in marriage to James (Otis?) Fine on December 12, 1921 in Drumright and has made her home here since. She is preceded in death by her husband and one son.

She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Her survivors include two sons - Bruce Fine of Yale, Ok.; and Frank Fine of Duncan, Ok.; one sister - Francis Root of Houston, Tx., and one brother - Tom Tucker of Fremont, Calif.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 1988 in the First Christian Church with Rev. Bob Davis officiating. Music was by Mrs. Elmer Holder at the organ and Mrs. Lillian Umberham soloist.

Pallbearers were Burl Southward, Bob Akers, Elmer Holder, Harold Nichols, Clyde Coleman and Junior Umberham.

Interment was held in the South Cemetery under the direction of Bailes Funeral Home.

CARL PHILLIP FISHER
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, March 2, 1988

Funeral services were held Friday, February 26, 1988 at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church, Drumright, for longtime Drumright resident, Carl Phillip Fisher. Carl died February 23 at Bartlett Memorial Hospital, Sapulpa.

Officiating was Rev. Robert Tupper. Organist was Mrs. A.C. Wiemer. Serving as pallbearers were Howard Heffington, Ray Holland, Ralph Rawdon, Claud McLaughlin, Bill Campbell, Wayne Campbell and U.A Wright.

Carl Fisher was born September 28, 1907 at Mounds, Ok. Carl and his wife, Gladys, were united in marriage in 1927 in Beggs, Ok. and moved to Drumright, from Kansas, to make their home forty-eight years ago. Gladys preceded him in death in 1980. Carl was retired from Texaco. He was a member od Drumright Masonic Lodge #468, 32nd degree Mason in the Tulsa Valley and a member of the Drumright Eastern Star.

Carl is survived by five sons, Charles and Thomas Fisher, both of Drumright, Dennis Fisher of Peculiar, Mo., Herbert Fisher of Belton, Mo. and Terry Fisher of Harrisonville, Mo. Three sisters, Nina Bean, Martha Fowler and Gladys Dotson, all of Beaumont, Tx. Three brothers, John Fisher of Galveston, Tx., Edward Fisher of Houston, Tx. and David Fisher of Silsby, Tx. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One sister and two brothers preceded him in death.

Masonic Rites and committal services were held at the Oak Hiill Cemetery, Drumright, with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

ANN ELIZABETH FITZPATRICK
From "The Mannford Eagle," Mannford, Oklahoma, April 10, 1986

Ann Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, 73, whose home is off Washington Irving Road in the Peninsula, was given funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, in the Mobley-Dodson chapel, Sand Springs.

Cremation arrangements were made by Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service. Death occurred Wednesday, April 2, in Tulsa. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born March 8, 1913, in Bigheart (now Barnsdall), was a retired hairdresser and a member of the Unity Temple.

Surviving are her husband, John Fitzpatrick, Sr. of the home; a step-son, John Fitzpatrick III of Mannford, three sisters, Etta Brotherton, Tulsa; Irene Titus, Colorado Spring, Colo., and Patricia Stolte, Billings, Mo.; three brothers, Hollis E. Crowe, Marshall Islands, Donald Coursey, West Plains, Mo.; and James Coursey, Springfield, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

CHARLES FLATT

Charles Flatt, 139 East Cherry, Drumright, died August 18, 1986. Funeral services were held August 21 at the First Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Officiating were Ben Lacy and Chris Tecmire. Music was provided by organist Doris Brown, pianist Elaine Rainwater and vocalists Thelma Black, Jeff Hunter, Dala Seymour and Bob Ward.

Serving as pallbearers were Virgil Cooper, Lloyd Kintsel, Robert McClain, Wayne Skies, Bill Stevens and John Watson.

Flatt was born April 20, 1921 at Stroud, Oklahoma, and had lived around this area all of his life. He had lived in Drumright since 1961. He and his wife, Lillie, were united in marriage on December 2, 1943, at Enid. Flatt had served his country during WWII in the Air Force and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Drumright.

His survivors include his wife, Lillie, of the home; children Charles Ralph (Butch) Flatt and Dianna Sue Touchstone, both of Drumright; three grandsons; brothers Glen J., Drumright; Kenneth R., Eugene, Oregon and Willard J. Flatt, Simpson, La., and sisters Dorothy Randall, Drumright and Aline Flatt, Hood River, Oregon.

One brother, Elmer Flatt and one sister, Lois Flatt preceded him in death.

Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Drumright with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

Flinchum

Services for Arless Clyde Flinchum, 58, of Tulsa were at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Garrett officiating.

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford with arrangements by Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs.

Mr. Flinchum was born on Dec. 17, 1927, in Mannford. He had formerly been a welder with Crawford Engineering and was affiliated with the Christian church.

Survivors include a daughter, Jeannie Ridenour of Tulsa; a son, DeLon Flinchum of Tulsa; two grandchildren; three brothers, Carl Flinchum and Larry Flinchum, both of Mannford, and Floyd Flinchum of Barnsdall.

VIOLA L. FORD
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, September 2, 1987

Viola L. Ford was born October 28, 1919 and passed away August 7, 1987 in the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Ok.

Viola married Richard D. Ford on July 25, 1938 in Cushing, Ok. From this union came two children: George S. Ford of Moonesville, Indiana, and Dale R. Ford of Morgantown, Indiana.

Viola is survived by her husband Richd of the home in Oilton, her two sons, George and Dale; two brothers, Owen and Thomas Bales; one sister, Lenora Gallaway of Drumright; and five grandchildren.

Viola was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 98, Oilton, Ok.

HARRY FOUNTAIN

Funeral services for Harry Fountain were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Bailes Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Harold Haymes of the Oak Street Baptist Church, Cushing, officiated. Music was provided by Wayne Franklin. Interment was in the Shamrock Cemetery with the Drumright Masonic Lodge giving graveside rites.

Fountain was born September 6, 1914, at North Fork, Arkansas, to James Homer and Huldah Fountain and died Sunday in the Colonial Plaza Nursing Home in Cushing, he was 70.

He is a former Superintendent for Mobil Oil Company. While employed for Mobil he was a resident of Falfurrias, Texas. In 1978 he moved to Shamrock, Oklahoma.

He is a member of the First Baptist Church, is a Mason, belonged to the Falfurrias Masonic Lodge #1030 AF&AM, was a member of the Eastern Stars, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Corpus Christi Shriners.

He was preceded in death by his father James Fountain and wife Verlie.

Survivors include his mother of Cushing; step-son Ike Stanfield of Falfurrias, Texas and a sister Willeen Martin of Cushing.

Pallbearers were Drumright Masonic Lodge members, Harvey Kates, Wayne Campbell, Jody Russell, O.S. Stevens, Ray Holland and Ray Shaw.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Bailes Funeral Home.

DAVE WASHINGTON FOUST
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, October 1, 1986

Dave Washington Foust, born May 7, 1895, to Margaret Elizabeth and Calvin Anthony Foust, in Texas, died September 24 in the Cushing Regional Hospital, at the age of 91.

He and the former Lillie Robinson were married June 13, 1915, in Tecumseh.

Survivors include his wife of the home; children Opal Landrum of Mannford and Arthur Hubert Foust; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers Jess and Newton Foust and sisters Eula Howard and Myrffe Seals.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Noveline Marie Braswell.

Foust was a member of the Oilton Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. September 27 at the Oilton Free Will Church under the direction of the Peck Funeral Home.

GLENN FRANCIS FOXX

Graveside rites for Mr. Glenn Francis Foxx, 71, Doniphan, Mo., was held at 3 p.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Drumright, with Rev. Jack B. Matthews officiating. Burial was under the direction of the Fairley-Hackler Funeral Home.

A native of Michigan, Mr. Foxx was born November 19, 1913 at Gross Point Farms, the son of the late Melton and Georgia (Yokom) Foxx. He was reared and received his early education in St. Clair County, Mo.

On October 21, 1940 he married the former Miss Georgia Gelushia at Port Huron, Mich. They established their first home at St. Clair County, near Richmond and lived there for 34 years.

Mr. Foxx was employed as a stationary engineer for the utiltiy plant Detroit _____ until his retirement in 1974. They then moved to Doniphan and have continued to make their home there. Mr. Foxx died at 11 p.m. Friday in the Cushing Regional Hospital following an apparent heart attack. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Mrs. Georgia Foxx of the home; a son: Howard Foxx of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters: Virginia Moss of Memphis, Mich., Eugenia Vander Marliere of Vernal, Utah and Darlyn Sullivan of Farmington, N.M.; two brothers: Wade Foxx of Altadena, Calif. and Sherrill Foxx of Rochester, Mich.; three sisters: Marie Betterly of Byron, Mich., Bonnie Rathbun of Corrum, Mich. and Betty Montani of Vancouver, Canada; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Foxx was preceded in death by a son, Danny.

Allie Franks

Funeral services for Mrs. Allie C. Franks, Oilton, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church in Drumright. Mike Dumler officiated at the services. Ruth Cushenberry provided the music with Linda Foster as soloist. Interment was in the Highland Cemetery in Oilton.

Franks was born February 15, 1904, at Jennings and died Monday in the Drumright Memorial Hospital, she was 80.

She had worked in a Tulsa County girls home, in the kitchen. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Center of Oilton and the First Christian Church in Drumright.

She is survived by sisters Mrs. Martha Prather of Oilton, Mrs. Lillie Mills of Drumright, Mrs. Faye Caranhan of Drumright and Mrs. Rachel Skaggs of Skiatook.

Pall bearers were Burl Southward, Floyd Tally, O.S. Stephens, Elmer Holder, Ben McQuillen and Raymond Jones.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Bailes Funeral Home.

Beth Frasier

Beth Frasier of Wauneta, Nebraska passed away December 8, 1987 at the age of 66 years.

Survivors include her three daughters - Merlue Irwin of Spring Hill, Kansas; Mrs. Glen Anderson of Drumright, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Roger Herrick of Stapleton, Nebraska.

Also left behind are five grandchildren - Galen and Glenna Anderson and Tyler, Jason and Cody Herrick.

Funeral services were held December 12, 1987 in Wauneta United Methodist Church. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta, Neb.

SUSAN M. FRAZEE

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 24, 1986 at the First Baptist Church in Drumright for Susan M. Frazee. Mrs. Frazee died January 21, 1986 at the Drumright Nursing Home.

Susan Frazee was born January 30, 1902 in Illinois and had made her home in Drumright for the past thirty-four years, after moving here from California. She had been a member of the Pythian Sisters and was a member of the First Bapitist Church of Drumright.

Mrs. Frazee was preceded in death by her husband, David William Frazee, a daughter, Agnes Helen Randles and her son, David Ralph Frazee. One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.

Rev. Chris Tecmire officiated at her service, music provided by pianist Elaine Rainwater and vocalist Bob Ward. Serving as pallbearers were Nelson Ishmael, Donald Ishmael, Jerry Ishmael, Gary Hitch, Robert Foster and Tacy Venable.

Her survivors include two daughters, Fern Venable, Drumright and Janice Ann Hendricks of Holdenville. Three brothers, Raymond Ishmael, Drumright, Hughie Ishmael, Texas and Mart Ishmael, Drumright. One sister, Nellie Hich, Drumright. Ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Interment was in the Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow, Oklahoma, with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home, Drumright.

FAY FRAZIER

Funeral services were held Monday, September 21, 1987 at the First Baptist Church, Drumright, for Fay Frazier. Fay Frazier died September 17, 1987 in the Drumright Nursing Home at the age of 87.

Officiating was Chris Tecmire, Pastor of the First Baptist Church. Organist was Leota Fincher with vocalists Thelma Black and Jeff Hunter. Grandsons of Mrs. Frazier, Tommy Davis, Jimmy Davis, Bobby Davis, Johnny Paul Davis, Mike Frazier and Ray Frazier, served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Pat Dow, Gary Edwards, Larry Greenwood, Mike Leavene and Vince Shoop.

Fay Robb Frazier, daughter of Clarence J. and Morlan Robb was born on a farm north of Cushing on December 28, 1899. She was married to Leonard A. Frazier on December 28, 1915 and lived since that time in the Drumright-Cushing area. To this union, five sons, Glen, Mountain Home, Ark.; Leon, Blanco, Tx.; Kenneth, Drumright; and Gary of Houston, Tx. and two daughters, Opal Davis, Perry, Ok.; and Erma Lea Powell of Eureka, Ks. were born. One sister, Rea Nethercutt of Drumright, OK.

Her parents, her husband, Leonard and one son, Jack preceded her in death. Grandma Frazier had sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; and was Grandma Frazier to all of those who loved her and she loved them.

Interment was in the New Zion Cemetery, Cushing, with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

EDNA FREEMAN

Funeral services for Edna Freeman of Jennings were held October 2 at the First Christian Church in Drumright with the Rev. Mike Dumlar officiating. Interment was in the Highland Cemetery in Glennwinfield, Kansas. Mary Ruth Cushenbery provided organ music and David Backburn was vocalist.

Freeman was born in Oklahoma Territory on January 14, 1906, and died Septmeber 28 in St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, she was 78.

She was a life long resident of Jennings.

Her husband, William and a son Donald Freeman preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughter Clairbell Smith of California, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.

"Jennings News" by Jodie Grubb

Edna Freeman died September 28th after falling and breaking a hip. She was born in Marimec, Okla., in 1906 to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Umberham, she lived in this area most of her life.

She was married to William Freeman in the early 1930s. He preceded her in death in 1960. A son, Capt. Donald Freeman was killed in Vietnam in 1967.

Survivors include one daughter in California, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Drumright with burial in Winfield, Kansas.

MICHAEL ALLEN FRITZ

Funeral services were held December 13, 1986, at the Drumright First Baptist Church at 1 p.m. for Michael Allen Fritz. He died December 11 at the Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital in Tulsa.

Fritz was born May 25, 1953, at Cushing, Ok. He grew up in Drumright and attended public school here, graduating from Drumright High School in 1971. Fritz received his degree from Central State University, Edmond, Oklahoma, in 1978. He had been an active member of the First Baptist Church in Drumright.

Officiating at his service was the Rev. Chris Tecmire, Music was provided by organist, Doris Brown and vocalists Bob Ward, Thelma Black, Jeff Hunter and Diana Touchstone. Serving as pallbearers were Hayden Gibson, Bob McClain, Otis Stump, Gene Smith, John Brown and Jim Brittenham. Honorary pallbearers were the deacons of the church.

Fritz is survived by his parents, Don and Louise Fritz of Drumright; sisters Donna Sue Fritz of Moore, Ok. and Nancy Daugherty of Tulsa; his grandmother, Bonnie Fritz also of Tulsa and numerous other relatives and many friends.

Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Drumright, with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home, Drumright.

JOE PAT FRIZZELL

Grave side services were held for Joe Pat Frizzell, Snyder, Texas, at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, 2 p.m. on September 7. The Rev. Mike Dumler of the Drumright First Christian Church officiated.

Frizzell was born in Drumright on August 15, 1939, and died north of Oklahoma City in a car and truck accident on September 5, he was 45.

He graduated from Drumright High School.

His profession was that of a surveyor. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his father John T. Frizzell of Tulsa; sisters Mrs. Mary Clark and Mrs. Jack Thomas both of Broken Arrow and brothers Robert T. of Broken Arrow, Major Harry P. of Alexander, Virginia, and John W. Frizzell of Dickenson, Texas.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.

Roy E. "Jack" Frost

Mannford Resident, Roy E. "Jack" Frost, passed away on Thursday, October 13, at the Fort Smith Hospital, in Fort Smith Arkansas.

Frost was born in Mannford on September 27, 1919, and was a lifelong resident. Frost was a retired salesman from Parkin Printing and Stationary, and was a veteran of WWII.

Survivors include wife, Mary of the home, one daughter, Darlene Frost, Fort Smith; one son, Roy Frost Jr., of Arkansas; one sister, Jessi Mullenax, of New Mexico; and two grandchildren.

Services were held at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Roselawn Cemetery, with a Masonic graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Fort Smith Hope Center or F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Joshua was born on February 9, 1987 and passed away on March 8, 1987 at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital in Tulsa.

In addition to his parents, Joshua is survived by his paternal grandmother Rose Mary Dixson, San Diego, Calif.; maternal grandparents, Don and Joyce Sissom, Mannford; and John and Jayne Hover, Broken Arrow, OK.; Paternal great grandparents, Sammy and Francis Fulton, Mannford; maternal great grandparents, Isaac and Mary Burgess, Terlton; and D.W. Walsie Sissom, Terlton.
