DOROTHY MAE IDLETT

Funeral services were held March 20, 1986 at the Oilton Free Will Baptist Church for Dorothy Mae Idlett. Interment was at the Highland Cemetery, Oilton. She died March 18 at the age of 89. She was a longtime Oilton resident and a resident of the Drumright Nursing Home.

Idlett was born January 24, 1897, at Eufaula, Ark., to George and Lucy Caldwell.

She is survived by a sister Fannie Holland of Drumright, brother Charles Caldwell of Coffeeville, Kansas and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were under the direction of the Peck Funeral Home of Oilton.

VIOLET CORDA INGRAM
From the "news Journal," Drumright, Oklahoma, February 6, 1985

Violet Corda Ingram, 91, died January 31 in the Drumright Hospital. She was a resident of the Drumright Nursing Home and had formerly lived in the Oilton area for 40 years.

She was born in Carrolton, Ky., in 1893 and was the daughter of Ray and Liza Holdcraft. On February 27, 1913, she was united in marriage to Lon Ingram in Chandler, Okla.

Survivors include her son Ray W. Ingram of Oilton; daughter Opal Race of Drumright; sisters Nadine Jones of Del City and Hazel Saulsberry of Chandler; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Glen Ingram, a daughter Olive Black and her husband, Lon who died in 1961.

Funeral services were held February 2 at the First Baptist Church in Oilton under the direction of the Peck Funeral Home.

JOE INMAN

"Olive News" by Susie Lacey

Joe Inman passed away at Oklahoma City. She was buried in Oilton Cemetery last Thursday. She was 86 years old and was a long time resident of Oilton, Silver City and Olive. Her husband was Norman Inman. Many friends came to the funeral.

Jack Thurman is up and going. He came to Mrs. Inman's funeral. Also Mr. & Mrs. E.E. Whitehead, Mrs. Dortha Rusco, Aline Batson and Lucille Whitehead both from Tulsa, Mr. & Mrs. Dick Mills, Mr. & Mrs. Howard Whitehead and others.

MILDRED SUSIE "MILLIE" INMAN

"Olive News" by Susie Lacey

Mildred Susie (Millie) Inman passed away Arpil 20 at Perry, Oklahoma. She had been in a nursing home in Perry for 3 months. Her funeral was held at the Free Will Baptist Church in Bristow. She was buried in the Old Bristow Cemetery. Millie was 91 years old. She was born February 8, 1894 at Chandler, Oklahoma. They were long time residents of Olive. She lived a good life and leaves two daughters, Fay and Naomi, other relatives and many friends.

"Silver City Area News" by Beulah Barnett

Mildred Inman formerly of this area passed away. Mrs. Inman was 91 years old was proceeded in death by her husband, Everett some years ago. The Inmans were old timers of this area. Their old home place is the Frank and Mary Hajducek place now. The Inmans moved to this area in the mid twenties and lived here many years. The Inmans had two daughters, Faye and Naomi.

CHARLES A. ISBELL
From "The Mannford Eagle," Mannford, Oklahoma, February 10, 1988

YALE MAN TAKES LIFE

A Yale man, Charles A. Isbell, 48, committed suicide, Thursday, January 28, according to Cpt. Bob Robertson of the Creek County Sheriff's Office.

Robertson said that Isbell apparently parked his vehicle on a county road, two miles south and 3/4 miles west of Oilton off Highway 99, shot one round into the wet sand and the next into his forehead, with a .38 special.

Powder burns were found on both hands by the medical examiner and he states that this was nothing other than a suicide.

NELSON EUGENE ISHMAEL
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, May 27, 1987

Nelson Eugene Ishmael died Wednesday, May 20, 1987 at the Stillwater Medical Center. Nelson was born November 4, 1937 in Drumright, Ok and had made his home here all of his life.

Nelson was employed with Amoco Pipeline Company, was a member of the Church of The First Born in Agra, Ok and was a member of the Drumright Masonic Lodge #468. Nelson and his wife, LaQuita, were married on February 21, 1959 at Sapulpa Ok. One brother, Douglas Ishmael preceded him in death in 1970.

He is survived by his wife, LaQuita, of the home, two sons, Tim Lee Ishmael of Oklahoma City and Tony Lynn Ishmael, Drumright. His parents, Martin and Marie Ishmael of Shamrock; three brothers, Donald, Jerry and Terry Ishmael, all of Shamrock; three sisters, Norma Edmonds, Las Vegas, Nevada, Joyce Richie, Tulsa and Margaret Beard, Sand Springs.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 23, 1987 at 11:00 a.m. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Officiating were Rev. Johnny McCoy and Rev. George Brock, III. Providing music were vocalist, Diana Young and pianist, Eleanor Acklin. Serving as pallbearers were Ron West, Keith King, Ted Nishimuta, Gary Sanseverino, Mike Rickner and Ronnie Hickman. Honorary pallbearers were Floyd Jones and Bill Klaus.

Interment was in the Oakhill Cemetery, Drumright. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

TERRY ALLEN ISHMAEL
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, December 2, 1987

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 28, 1987 at 2 p.m. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church for Terry Allen Ishmael, age 36. Terry was killed in a car-pedestrian accident in Paris, Texas, Wednesday, November 25, 1987. Officiating was Rev. George Brock III. Marge Candler was the pianist with vocalist, Kara Rowell. Serving as pallbearers were Rick Richey, Tim Ishmael, Tony Ishmael, Wesley Ishmael, Braun Fahrny, Philip Beard and Shawn Beard.

Terry Allen Ishmael was born November 8, 1951 at Yale, Ok. and had lived in the Drumright area all of his life. Terry was preceded in death by two brothers, Doug Ishmael in 1970 and Nelson Ishmael, May 20, 1987.

He is survived by his parents, Martin and Marie Ishmael; two brothers, Donald and Jerry Ishmael, both of Shamrock; three sisters, Norma Edmonds, Las Vegas, Nevada; Joyce Ishmael, Tulsa; and Margaret Beard, Sand Springs, Ok.

Interment was in the Oakhill Cemetery, Drumright, with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

CHARLES JARRETT ISOM
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, February 25, 1987

Funeral services for Charles Jarrett Isom, longtime Drumright resident, were held in Englewood Cemetery Chapel at Clinton, Mo. February 16 at 10 a.m.

Services were conducted by Stephen L. Harwick, pastor of the First Baptist Church and by members of the American Legion, who presented a flag to Mrs. Isom.

Isom servied with the Sea-bees and was stationed on Iwo Jima when the Marines raised the American flag there during World War II, in victory over the capture of the Volcano Islands in the West Pacific from the Japanese.

Born June 21, 1918, Isom died February 13, following a relatively short illness. He is survied by his wife, Elora, and two daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Elgin of Buckner, Mo. and Mrs. Dottie Chapman of Independence, Mo. and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Lucille Huff, and his mother, Mrs. Grace "Buddy" Whistler, both of Drumright, and a brother and his father.

Attending the services from Drumright were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Huff, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Howard Huff, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Gene York, Mrs. Maxine Purvis, Mrs. Lois Powers and Mrs. Beverly Saliba.

Also in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Morrow and Rachel of Muskogee and Mrs. Naomi Cornett of Stroud.

The Isoms had moved to Clinton recently hafter having lived in Drumright and Cushing for nearly 40 years. He was employed by Midland Refinery (later Hudson) before retirement.
