LEO WALTER UMBERHAM
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, March 26, 1986

Leo Walter Umberham died March 21, 1986 at St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa.

He was born February 22, 1918, in Oilton and had made his home in Drumright since moving here in 1930. On January 13, 1937, Leo and his wife Naomi, were united in marriage at the Church of God in Drumright. He was a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Drumright and had been active in oil production in this area since 1946. Umberham was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Funeral services were held March 25 at 2 p.m. in the First Christian Church with Robert Foster officiating. Serving as organist was Rose Mary Holder with vocal music by Linda Foster.

Pallbearers were Bob Akers, Wayne Ingram, Wallace Hallman, Bill DeShazo, Elmer Holder and A.G. Quillen.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi of the home; brother Franklin Umberham, Jr. of Drumright; one niece Judy Umberham and one nephew Brent Lee Umberham both of Tulsa.

Interment was in the Oilton Cemetery with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

ORA FLORENCE UMBERHAM
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, January 1, 1986

Funeral services were held Friday, December 20, 1985 at 2 p.m. for Ora Florence Umberham who died December 18, 1985 at St. Johns Medical Center in Tulsa. Mrs. Umberham was born April 14, 1900, in Missouri and had lived in this community since 1930. Mrs. Umberham was a member of the First Christian Church in Drumright. Ora was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Umberham, Sr. and one sister.

Services were held at the First Christian Church with Rev. Mike Dumler officiating. Mary Ruth Cushenbery served as organist with vocalist Linda Foster. Pallbearers were Elmer Holder, Bob Akers, Bill DeShazo, Wayne Ingram, Hildon Beard and Clyde Coleman.

Her survivors include her sons Franklin Umberham, Jr., Drumright, Leo Umberham, Drumright, two grandchildren, Judy Lynn Umberham and Brent Lee Umberham.

Interment was in the Oilton Cemetery with funeral arrangements under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

FLOSSIE BELL UPTEGRAFT
From the "News Journal," Mannford, Oklahoma, December 2, 1987

Funeral services were held Monday, November 30, 1987 in the Assembly of God Church, Drumright, for Flossie Bell Uptegraft who died Saturday, November 28, 1987 in the Drumright Memorial Hospital at the age of 80.

Officiating was Rev. Marvin Boyles with music provided by the Lights of Christ. Serving as pallbearers were Ronald Sadler, Brent Sadler, Chris Cline, Bob Bonebrake, Jack Fritts and Don Grace II. Honorary pallbearers were Chad Cline, Brian Sadler, Doug Bonebrake, Robert Fritts and Chuck Bonebrake.

Flossie was born January 14, 1907 at Green Forrest, Arkansas and had lived in Drumright for the past 60 years, moving here from Caney, Ok. Flossie and her late husband, Sherman Uptegraft, were united in marriage on February 3, 1934 at Chandler, Ok. Flossie is a member of the Assembly of God Church in Drumright.

She is survived by her sisters, Iona Dyer - Drumright, Violet Sullivan - Wharton, Texas, Jackie Campbell - Drumright and VaDonna Sadler - Oklahoma City; her brothers, V. L. Sadler - Cushing, Cleo Sadler - McCleansboro, Illinois, Leo Sadler - Oklahoma City and B.F. Sadler - Owasso. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, one sister and four step-sons, Forrest, Dale, Kenneth and Nip Uptegraft.

Interment was in the Carney Cemetery, Carney, Ok. with funeral arrangemetns under the direction of the Don Smith Funeral Home.

GALEN UPTGRAFT
From the "News Journal," Drumright, Oklahoma, July 17, 1985

Services for Galen Uptgraft, 76, 2603 E. 21st St., Odessa, Texas were held Friday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Uptgraft died June 26, 1985 at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born September 22, 1908 in Pickway, Ind. He married Erma Clark on December 27, 1930, in Drumright, Oklahoma.

Mr. Uptgraft was a member of the Methodist Church and a 32nd degree Mason. He retired in 1959 as assistant supervisor for Shell Oil Comapny after 28 years.

Survivors include his wife, two brothers, Don Uptgraft and Lewis Uptgraft, both of Burbank, California. He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Uptgraft of Drumright.
