MOUNDS -- The regular water board meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. today, and the next scheduled meeting of the city council will be at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at City Hall.
The Mounds Senior Citizens were recent guests of the Kellyville Senior Citizens Club as they shared dinner and games.
Approximately 50 members attending the day-long meeting. Those attending from Mounds included Patty Daniels, coordinator; Juanita Lacey, Clara Owsley, Rosa Cruikshank, Marie Stockham, Ethel Carr, Rosie Smith, Roxie Hestand, Mae Hausner and Vergie Bollinger.
The Senior Citizens group is planning a cake walk on Saturday, March 21 at the group's building beginning at 7 p.m.
The Mounds Pentecostal Holiness Church will sell tickets for family portraits which will be taken Saturday, March 14. The color portraits are 8x10 and five frame styles will be available to choose from. Tickets are $7.95 and may be purchased from any church member. Proceeds will be used in the church building fund.
