MANUAL TRAINING CLASS FINISHES BICYCLE RACKS INSTALLED AT HIGH SCHOOL

According to Mr. C.O. Holley, head of the manual training department of Sapulpa high school, three new bicycle racks were installed this week on the west side of the building, to accomodate the average of 30 wheels which the students ride to school daily.

The plan of the racks was devised last year. They were made this fall by Mr. L.A. Holland's class in elementary wood work. The class consists of junior high boys of the seventh grade.

The racks are neatly of wood, and can accomodate thirty wheels, which hitherto were scattered over the campus.

The plan has proved so successful that it was decided to make them for distribution to other schools of the city.

THE PERSPIRING REPORTER

Question -- In your opinion what is the best way to procure subscriptions for this paper?

Miss H. Wickham -- If the situation were ideal school spirit would take care of the subscription list. As it is I would recommend a contest among the student body. The person, home room or the side obtaining the greatest number of subscriptions should receive a prize or prizes.

Mr. C.O. Holley -- The home-room is the logical way of promoting a subscription drive for "High Times." It offers the advantage of a direct contact - teacher, pupil, home - that is not offered otherwise in our school. By arrangement the drive might take the form of a contest.

NOTE: Plans for the subscription contest for "Sapulpa High Times" under the direction of the Journalism class, are well under way, and will be announced Wednesday morning. The plans are based on suggestions given the perspiring reporter.

Subscription Price $.50 A Year
