TOPTENLISTS

TOP TEN "HIT" LISTS

From the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s and 1960s

Remember how much fun it was to listen to your favorite music radio station and write down the "Top Ten" songs that were popular in your day? Well, in digging through some old papers of my Momma's, I've discovered that what I was doing at 16 back in the fifties was NOT new to her! She did the same thing in the 1930s!!!!

So, just for fun, I'm putting all of the lists I found on this page! Some are in my Momma's handwriting, and some in my Uncle George Parsons, who was living with my Momma (his big sister) at the time in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

So get ready to go WAY back in time . . . and long for the music we grew up listening to!!! Oh, for the Good Old Days!
