ODOM, Leta -- Leta Odom, of Sapulpa, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Grace Living Center in Jenks.

She was born Oct. 26, 1908 in Lone Elm, Ark.

Survivors are her daughter, Connie Graham and husband Jim, of Sapulpa; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2004 in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Reeves officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park in Tulsa.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. O'Neal was born in Hugo Aug. 2, 1931.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2004 at 29th & Yale Church of Christ, Tulsa, with Greg Clark officiating. Committal will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hugo, immediately following the funeral service.

George Thomas O'Neal

A funeral service for George Thomas O'Neal, Jr. was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at 29th and Yale Church of Christ, Tulsa, with Mr. Greg Clark officiating. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hugo. Mr. O'Neal was born at Hugo to George Thomas O'Neal, Sr. and Effie Jewel Elkins on Aug. 2, 1931. He died Thursday, December 23, 2004, at Grace Living Center, Jenks, surrounded by family members. He was 73. Mr. O'Neal joined the United States Air Force February 24, 1951. He married Rosalie Stills on Aug. 20, 1957. He was a retired, self-employed salesman. Hobbies included watching University of Oklahoma football and playing dominos. He was a Kiwanis Club member and attended 29th and Yale Church of Christ for the past ten years. Mr. O'Neal was preceded in death by both parents; along with five sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife: Rosalie O'Neal; and his brother: Bill O'Neal; three daughters: Toni O'Neal, Tami Exedine and her husband, Tim, and Julie Minnick and her husband, Bryan; two sons: Bruch O'Neal and his wife, Micki, and Mike O'Neal and his wife, Susie, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. George Thomas O'Neal

Service for George Thomas O'Neal, Jr., 73, was 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at the Church of Christ, 29th and Yale, Tulsa, with Mr. Greg Clark officiating. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hugo, Okla., immediately following the service.

Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service and Cremation Care.

O'Neal was born in Hugo, son of George Thomas O'Neal, Sr., and Effie Jewel Elkins on Aug. 2, 1931. He died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2004 at Grace Living Center in Jenks.

He graduated from Hugo schools and attended Harding University, Searcy, Ark., and Oklahoma Christian University, Edmond, Okla. O'Neal joined the United States Air Force in February, 1951, and was stationed in Laredo.

He and Rosalie Stills married Aug. 20, 1957, in Harrison, Arkansas. He resided in the Tulsa area for 24 years.

Mr. O'Neal was a retired, self-employed salesman, a Kiwanis Club member and attended 29th and Yale Church of Christ for the past ten years.

O'Neal was preceded in death by both parents along with five sisters and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife: Rosalie of Tulsa and a brother, Bill O'Neal of Paris, Tex.; three daughters: Toni O'Neal of Tulsa, Tami Exendine and her husband, Tim, of Sapulpa, and Julie Minnick and her husband, Bryan, of San Antonio, Tex.; two sons: Butch O'Neal and his wife, Micki, of Glenpool and Mike O'Neal and his wife, Susie, of Sapulpa.

O'Neal is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandsons.

Ora Oriene Osment, of Jenks, died Monday, March 14, 2004 at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 15 days at her home. She was born Feb. 1, 1916 in Tulsa to Alfred and Maud Barnett.

In 1942 she married Thos. Osment who preceded her in death.

She had a Free Will Baptist background. Her grandfather, the Rev. Eugene Mathews, founded the First Free Will Baptist Church in Tulsa in 1920 where he pastored until 1927.

She graduated from Turley High School and Tulsa Business College. She held several jobs over the years. The last two were county court clerk at Nowata and secretary at the Bureau of Mines for the federal government at Bartlesville. She retired in 1983.

She leaves to mourn her passing her niece and nephew Nadine and the Rev. Glen Hood with whom she has lived for the last few years; Herb and June Gregory, of Sandoval, Ill. and 23 other nieces and nephews. She also leaves a host of friends and family.

She loved her Lord and her church. She has attended First FWB Nowata Church of God, Blue Bell FWB, Lawnwood FWB and Crossroads FWB in Jenks.

The services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Carey, the Rev. Glen Hood and the Rev. Steve Loveless officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulsa.

Casketbearers will be Terry Brown, Don Kinsey, Harold Hancock, Roger Lamb, Harry Watt and Chris Lindsey.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the services.

Services for Betty Delores Overturf, 70, of Jenks were 2 p.m. March 14 at the First Baptist Churcho of Jenks with James Gaylor officiating.

Mrs. Overturf died March 12 in Jenks.

Betty was born Jan. 29, 1931 in Tulsa to John and Beulah Jones Litka. She was a bus driver for 16 years with Jenks Public Schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jenks for over 40 years.

Survivors include her husband, Alan Overturf, Sr. of the home; children Lynn George, Gena Bradley, Richard Overturf and Alan Overturf, Jr., all of Jenks; Nancy Dolan of Mescalero, New Mexico and Patrick Overturf of Pasadena, Calif.; and one sister, Marcella Taylor of Tulsa; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Randall Overturf; one brother, John Litka, Jr. and her parents.

Services were under the direction of Kennard Funeral Service in Broken Arrow.
