Death Notices

UHLMAN, Sandra -- Sandra Kaye Uhlman, 56, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 25, 1948 to Marcus Covey and Francis Williamson. She is survived by her son Gordon Uhlman and her daughter Denisa Uhlman, both of Glenpool; brothers Leon Covey, of Jenks, J.M. Covey, of Jenks, and Lewis Covey, of Claremore; sisters Irene Smithey, of Jenks, Doris Nooner, of Jenks, Darlene Lynn, of Hectorville, Bonnie Pridemore, of Tulsa, and Alice Clubb, of Coweta.

A private family service was held.

Sandra Kaye Uhlman

Private family service for Sandra Kaye Uhlman, 56, was held with arrangements entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service and Cremation Care.

Ms. Uhlman died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 25, 1948, daughter of Marcus Covey and Francis Williamson. She had resided her entire life and graduated from Jenks High School. She was a retired truck driver for Oklahoma Natural Gas Company.

She is survived by a son, Gordon Uhlman and a daughter, Denisa Uhlman, both of Glenpool as well as brothers Leon Covey, Jenks, J.M. Covey, Jenks, and Lewis Covey of Claremore, Okla.; sisters Irene Smithey, Jenks, Doris Nooner, Jenks, Darlene Lynn, Hectorville, Bonnie Pridemore, Tulsa and Alice Clubb, Coweta, Okla.

GRACE I. UPHAM

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the First Christian church for Grace I. Upham.

Mrs. Upham died Monday at her home southwest of Jenks. Interment was in Bixby Cemetery under the direction of Riverside Funeral Home.

Mrs. Upham was born in Gas City, Ind., Dec. 28, 1893, and moved to the Jenks area about 50 years ago. She was past Worthy Matron of the Jenks Chapter of the Eastern Star, a member of the Pioneer club, Mothers club and Busy Bee club.

Survivors include a foster son, Alva Humble of 1030 West "F" Street; a sister, Mrs. Eva Sinder of Tulsa; a brother, Pearl Brattian of Urbana, Ohio, and one granddaughter.
