CARRA BEATRICE VAN HORN, daughter of William Oliver Van Horn, son of John C. Van Horne, was born on February 19, 1878 in New Market, Platte County, Missouri. She died on September 5, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Carra Beatrice Van Horn married A. J. Cummings on January 12, 1902.

MRS. BEATRICE CUMMINGS
Mrs. Beatrice Cummings, 65 years old, a nurse, died Monday in Kansas City. She is a sister of Mrs. F. H. Price of St. Joseph, and her body will be brought here for burial. It will be taken to the Fleeman Mortuary pending arrangements. Mrs. Cummings served as a nurse in World War One.
Services for Mrs. Beatrice Cummings who died Monday at Kansas City will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at Fleeman Mortuary and burial will be Bellemont Cemetery at Wathena, Kansas.
Carra Beatrice Van Horn died in Kansas City General Hospital and was buried on September 8, 1943.
