Judith Perley was born on 13 July 1777 in Rowley, Essex County, Massachusetts.²
She was the daughter of John Perley and Hannah Mighill of Rowley.¹
Judith Perley was the first woman to carry an umbrella in the town of Rowley. It was a red one and she walked to Byfield to church. It is also said that her wedding bed she ever after occupied, not leaving it for a night even, till the Thursday before the Monday of her death. She was an excellent motherly woman and her family refer to her with affection.²

Judith Perley married Nathaniel Rust on 24 December 1801 as his second wife.²
Judith Perley died on 20 March 1871 in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, at age 93 of senile debility, a widow.³

He was the son of Moody Perley and Abigail Gould.¹
Leander Perley died on 11 October 1864 at age 48.²
He was buried in Harmony Cemetery, East Boxford, Essex County, Massachusetts.²

She married Capt. Daniel Conant on 26 March 1811 as his second wife, her second husband, and lived in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts.²
Lucy Perley died on 22 November 1860 at age 87.²
She was buried in Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown, Essex County, Massachusetts, and her epitaph is
