- Sarah Symonds married William Rea of Danvers, who died leaving one son, who was called by his father's name, William.. Nathan Perley remembered his first love and paid a visit to Sarah. The flame was warm and reciprocating. Rev. Christopher Sargent, the first minister of that town, aged and much loved, made them one, on 13 October 1774.1
