  • Nicholas Whitman lived at Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.2
  • Nicholas Whitman married as his first wife, Sarah Vining, daughter perhaps of John of Weymouth, and had Thomas, born 1702; John, 1704; David, 1709; Jonathan, 1710; and Seth, 1713.2
  • Nicholas Whitman married Mary Cary, daughter of Francis Cary and Hannah Brett, in 1715 as his second wife.1
  • Nicholas Whitman married as his third wife, Mary Conant, and had Josiah, 1724; Sarah, 1726; Nicholas, 1731; and Ebenezer, 1736.2
  • He was accidentally killed on 6 August 1746.2
