He was the son of Benjamin Keith and Martha Cary.
He married Mehitable Perkins of Bridgewater on 8 December 1817 in the daughter of Josiah and Anna (Reynolds) Perkins First Congregational Church, Brockton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.²
Charles Keith died on 29 July 1859 at age 64.³
He was buried in Union Cemetery, Centre Street, North Bridgewater (now Brockton), Plymouth County, Massachusetts.⁴
