     Until May 31, 2006, use of the interesting website ArchiveGrid is being offered free of charge to both individuals and institutions. The website is a service of RLG, a not-for-profit membership organization of more than 150 universities, national libraries, archives, museums, and historical societies. Searching through nearly a million collection descriptions contributed by institutions all around the world, it leads viewers to items like historical documents, family histories, and personal papers. Examples of contributing institutions are the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the State Library of Massachusetts, the Orthodox Church in America, Cornell University, the New York Public Library, the Minnesota Historical Society, Harvard University, the International Institute of Social History, the University of Minnesota, the National Library of Australia, and the University of Warwick, England.      Due to the overwhelming response to the first two volumes of CZECH FAMILY HISTORIES, the Texas Czech Genealogical Society (TCGS) is gathering data for a third volume. September 1, 2006 is the deadline for submission of articles. Members of the society may send in material free of charge. For non-members there is a one time $30 submission fee (which is waived if a submitter chooses to join TCGS).      Information on deceased ministers and church members may sometimes be found in annual publications of various religious denominations. A list of "Our Sainted Dead," for example, appears in the JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS OF THE THIRTY-FIFTH ANNUAL SESSION OF THE NORTHWEST TEXAS CONFERENCE OF THE METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH, SOUTH, HELD AT GEORGETOWN, TEXAS, NOVEMBER 14 TO NOVEMBER 20, 1900. Edited and published for the Conference by Jerome DUNCAN, the publication was printed in Temple, TX, by Gresham Brothers in 1900.

     Having no pagination, the list follows page 37. It usually provides the person's name, year of death, and burial place.
