From Burnet, Texas, Brother Horace W. BUSBY wrote: ‘The meeting at Burnet began Sunday with fine crowds present, three services, with an old-fashioned dinner on the ground...Bro. J. W. ACUFF leading the song services...After this meeting, I am to begin with the Polytechnic church in Ft. Worth, to continue the rest of June.’

Brother N. W. ALLPHIN wrote from Abilene: ‘Had a good meeting with the Chestnut St. church here, embracing the last two Sundays in April...At Hyde Park, Austin, I began on first Sunday in May and continued till the third Sunday...Go next to Olden, Texas.’

“Brother T. S. PHILLIPS is to begin a meeting with the Beacon Hill Church of Christ, San Antonio, the 15th of July.

Brother M. P. MEEK, who is at present making a trip throughout the West, reports that Brother W. S. IRVINE of Tempe, Arizona, is an excellent preacher and should be kept busy preaching the gospel instead of being compelled to divide his time with secular work....”

From Abilene, Texas, Brother H. L. SCHUG of San Antonio wrote: ‘Brother Hatton B. GIST reports a collection given by the brethren in the Victoria meeting for the work among the Mexicans who do not speak the (sic) English. $7.50 was sent as monthly aid to the cause, addressed to Bro. Jesse G. GILL and H. L. SCHUG. The latter turned his share over to Bro. Gill, who is actively engaged in mission work among the Mexicans. During the past year, Bro. Gill and his workers have baptized about twenty brethren...at Sweetwater.

During...vacation, Bro. Gill and Bro. Juan AMARO will conduct meetings among the Mexicans in Texas, wherever invited...The churches of Christ at Sweetwater and Abilene are supporting and sponsoring this scriptural work.

Brother Foy E. WALLACE, Sr., is at present engaged in a good meeting at George West, Texas....
