     This week we conclude the selected items from THE TEXAS PHARMACEUTICAL ASSOCIATION BULLETIN, Volume 47, Number 2 (March 1926), which was published in Forney, Texas. (Surnames are capitalized for emphasis and some punctuation may be added for clarity.)

     Page 12 – Death notice for William E. “Ed” TOOGOOD

     “A newspaper account of his death is as follows:

     ‘William E. TOOGOOD, 42 years old, a resident of Dallas for thirteen years and Southern sales manager of the Richardson Corporation of New York, died Wednesday evening at his home, 200 South Lancaster Avenue.

     Surviving are his wife;

a daughter, Josephine TOOGOOD;

two sons, William E. TOOGOOD, Jr., and Granville D. TOOGOOD of Dallas;

his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. TOOGOOD of Ft. Worth;

three sisters; and

two brothers.

     Funeral services will be held at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon at the chapel of the Weiland Undertaking Company. Rev. C. E. SNOWDEN, Rector of the Church of the incarnation, will officiate. Burial will be in a Dallas cemetery.

     Active pallbearers will be

Mr. TOOGOOD was past president of the Texas Drug Travelers Association and was secretary of the same association at the time of his death. He was a member of the T. P. A. Benevolent Association, I. T. A., and the U. C. T.’” His picture accompanies the obituary.

     The following item, titled “Berry (sic) Enlarges,” appears on page 13 of THE TEXAS DRUGGIST, Volume 59, Number 2 (March 1938):

     “Practically doubling their space and number of employes (sic), the L. C. Berrey Drug Stores recently opened an annex to their headquarters in the Alamo National Bank Building, San Antonio. L. C. Berrey Drug Stores operate five other stores in San Antonio.”
