Bridge guards at Bomal, 3rd platoon Company “B”, halted vehicle in which two, supposedly American soldiers were riding. They did not know the password and failed to produce suitable identification. They spoke broken English. The guards sent them to Corps Hqs under armed guard where it was learned that they were German soldiers in American uniform.
