Timon Odell Mouser was born on May 25, 1923 to Robert Melvin and Ivy Leona (Shell) Mouser. Timon married Emma Kathryn Petray on March 2, 1946. They had eight children: Ruth Helen; Linda Kay; Jerry Odell; Brenda Sue; Leona Mae; Deborah Ann; Martha Jane; and Marsha Jene. They divorced and Timon married Ida May Akers Gillam on May 10, 1968. They had one son, Timon Odell Jr. Timon served in the military during World War II and was sent overseas on December 23, 1943. He was a German prisoner of war from August 7, 1944 until April 7, 1945. Timon retired from Black River Electric after 40+ years of service. Timon was predeceased by his parents, six brothers, and five daughters. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lutesville Man Missing in War
T.O. Mouser, 21 Was Serving in France.

Lutesville, Oct. 2. - Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mouser of near Lutesville were advised late Saturday that their son, Timon Odell Mouser, 21, an Army technician, has been missing in action in France since Aug. 6. The message did not reveal on what part of the front he was serving, nor the circumstances relating to his being missing.
Mouser entered service May 3, 1943, and trained at various camps in this country, then was sent overseas Christmas Day in 1943. He is reported to have entered France with the invasion forces on D-Day. Before entering service he was employed at Kankakee, Ill.
He was born 25 May, 1923, and attended the public schools here. A brother, Lloyd Mouser, is serving with the Navy at Pearl Harbor, and other brothers and sisters are Birdell Mouser of Granite City, Ill.; Robert and Kellie, at home and Melba, at home.
