Arthur Reid Watson A sixty-nine year Sacramento resident, passed away on February 5, 2018 at age 99. He was born in San Francisco and grew up in Quincy, CA. He graduated from Marysville Union High School, Yuba County Junior College and UC Berkeley. He served during WWII as a Captain in the Army, 298th Engineers Combat. He was a registered civil and structural engineer and worked for the State of California for 35 years in the Division of Architecture and the Department of Consumer Affairs. He loved golf, fishing and traveling. He and Frances traveled to many parts of the world. Most of all, he greatly loved and valued his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Frances Beckstrom Watson; and his sister, Virginia Bingham. He is survived by his daughters, Marilyn Lewis (Gary), Kathleen Reynolds (Fritz) and Laurie Perry (Richard). He is also survived by three grandchildren, Scott Reynolds (Megan), Mike Reynolds (Ramey) and Christina Perry; and two great-granddaughters, Everly and Bella.
