Franz was born in House #8 in Schneeberg.

Parish records indicate that Franz Klement was actually born as Franz Fritsche, the illegitimate child of Maria Anna Fritsche. After the marriage of Vinzenz Klement to Maria Anna Fritsche, Vinzenz Klement confirmed he was the biological father of Franz (per written document), was written into the parish book as the father of Franz, and Franz's surname was changed to Klement.
