PERCY & CORNELIA BREES & FAMILY - These are all photos of my grandparents, Percy & Cornelia Brees after their marriage. There are also some photos of their 6 children. They both grew up in Minnesota, and lived in Montana after their marriage in 1917.

The Family of Solomon BREES & Sarah Jane THORN - Percy's parents & siblings. Solomon (b. 1839) & Sarah Jane (b. 1842) were both born in New York, but they lived in Steele, Douglas & Todd Co., Minnesota after their marriage in 1865.
The Family of John BREES 2 & Mary Ann MOORE - Percy's paternal grandparents through their son Solomon. There are links from this page to family pages for two of their sons - Solomon BREES & Sarah Jane THORN and also for Squire BREES and Ellen RUTAN. John Brees was born in 1809 in Horseheads, Chemung Co., NY and lived there his entire life. Mary Ann was born in 1810 in NY or PA, and she also lived in Horseheads most of her life.
The Family of Elias BREES & Deborah BENNETT- Percy's paternal g-grandparents through their son John. Elias was born in 1775 in Basking Ridge, Somerset Co., NJ, but came with his parents to Tioga (became Chemung) Co., NY in 1787. Deborah was born in 1789 in Orange Co., NY, and married Elias in 1806. Elias & Deborah both died in Lenawee Co., Michigan, where they emigrated in 1837.
The Family of Elisha MOORE & Esther HOPPER - Percy's paternal g-grandparents through their daughter Mary Ann. Elisha (b. 1783 ) & Esther (b. 1784) were both born in New York, and lived most of their lives in Veteran, Chemung Co., NY.
The Family of John BREES II & Hannah GILDERSLEEVE - Percy's paternal gg-grandparents through their son Elias. John was a Revolutionary War veteran, born in Basking Ridge, Somerset Co., New Jersey in 1738. Hannah was born in 1750 in New Jersey. John and Hannah emigrated to Tioga/Chemung Co., New York in 1787. Gulbrand (b.1711) was married twice, to Ronnoug Iversdatter Flaskerud and Giertrud Nielsdatter. Their are links on this page to the family of son Gulbrand, and also son Endre Gulbrandson (b,1751), whose descendants include the Endre Gulbrandson (b. 1812) who was neighbor to Peder Lunde in Hayward, Freeborn Co., MN, and also Pastor Amund Lunde of Great Falls, Montana, who baptised all of the children of Percy & Cornelia (Lunde) Brees. BREES & LUNDE FAMILY HISTORY

DUANE'S RED BOOK - This is a paper written as a college assignment by Duane Brees dated March 25, 1951 on his Brees & Lunde family history. Duane was the son of Percy & Cornelia Brees.
