Welcome to the David Christian and Hanna C. Seeger/Sager Family History Page. Christian and Hanna came from Hanover, Germany from the port of Bremen, Germany to the Port of New York, US on April 24, 1843 via the ship Pauline with their six sons to find a free and better life for themselves and their family. They migrated to the Sandusky Valley, Ohio, staying with Hanna's brother, William Rorick on his farm there, and at some point they all moved on to Cedar County, Iowa by 1850. Five of the sons later moved on to Gentry County, Mo. where they aquired land and raised their families. Christian, Hanna, and one of their sons and family are buried in Cedar County, Iowa. The other five sons are layed to rest in three cemeteries around Stanberry, Gentry County, Mo. I give this tribute to them and their family's who came after them, to make us what we all are today. For if not for their sacrifices, we would not know life as we have it today. Thankyou, brave ancestors, for what your hard work and sacrifices gave to me....
