Death Certificate of
Charles DeCoursey

(1916 - 1918)

Charles was the third born child of Edwin J. and Mary (Pfaff) DeCoursey. Tragically, he was also the third child not to survive, their first lived only a few days and their second was still born. Charles was born in Mexia, Texas and died in Casa Grande, Arizona at the age of 1 year and 9 months about a year before the birth of their next child, William J. Prior to the discovery of this record Charles' existance was not known.

1 Charles is buried in Mt. View Cemetery in Casa Grande. It is possible that "Martin" is the undertaker.
2 29-year old William Raber is enumerated in the 1920 Federal Census living in Winkelman Precinct in neighboring Gila County, Arizona, working as a doctor for a copper mining company.
