The undersigned applicant for a Marriage License, being sworn, states that he is of the age of 30 years and upwards, and a resident of Council Bluffs County, and State of Iowa , and that he [sic] is of the age of 24 years and upwards, and a resident of Council Bluffs County, and State of Iowa ; that said parties are both unmarried, and free from physical infirmities, and no legal impediment exists to the marriage of said parties, as I verily believe.
