Friday, 14 Dec 1917, p. 1OBITUARY
Charles Bishop, eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Bishop, died at his home here [Alma] Wednesday morning Dec. 12th. He was stricken with pneumonia and died in a few days. All that medical aid and good nursing could do was done. He was 10 years of age and a favorite among his playmates. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, both in the community and the school.
He was laid to rest in Buckskin cemetery beside his grandparents. 1
Our deepest sympathy goes to the sorrowing family.1 The grandparents mentioned are Edward and Frances (McCormick) Kilduff. Charles' mother was Mary Alice Kilduff. Buckskin Cemetery is located outside of Alma.
