Paul Donegan was the youngest of John and Elizabeth (Reynolds) Donegan's eight children. One of his sisters was Regina, who married William Benedict DeCoursey. Paul was born in Kansas City, Kansas in 1899, and died there in 1919, 10 days short of his 20th birthday.

PAUL DONEGAN IS DEAD.
The End to a "Semi-Pro" Ball Player on Kansas Side.
Paul Donegan, a widely known Kansas City "semi-pro" baseball player, died Saturday night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Donegan, 716 Sandusky avenue, Kansas Side, after a short illness. He was 19 years old. Donegan made a fine record last season while a member of the Young Men's Catholic Club baseball team. Besides his parents he is survived by three sisters and four brothers. The funeral will be at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning at St. Mary's church; burial will be in Mt. Cavalry cemetery.
