Obituary of
Joseph Anthony "Joe" DeCoursey
(1923 - 1990)
Joe was the son of Francis C. "Frank" and Catherine C. "Kate" (Cotter) DeCoursey, the fifth of their nine children. He was born and grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. Joe married Virginia Carey, also of Kansas City, in 1945. They had 7 children. It appears that shortly after their marriage they moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and then in the late 1950's the family moved to Wichita, Kansas. The DeCoursey Creamery Co. had plants in both cities, presumably Joe was involved in running them.
