William B. DeCoursey's family visits Edwin J. DeCoursey's family in Los Angeles.
1933
Back Row: Vincent William, Edwin Joseph, Regina Donegan DeCoursey, Mary Poff DeCoursey, William Benedict, Bill (William Paul?).1
Front Row: Bill (William James?),1 Aileen, Mary Ann Josephine (behind), Mary Ann, Robert Oliver "Bob", John Edward "Jack".
Edwin J. DeCoursey and his family moved from Casa Grande, Arizona to Los Angeles, California about 1931. They bought an abandoned movie theater in Alhambra and turned it into a grocery store called the Loyola.2 Edwin's brother William and his family would later move from Kansas to California in 1941, to an orange grove called Yankee Grove in Anaheim.3
1 Both William Paul (son of William B.) and William James (son of Edwin J.) were called Bill (and listed as such in the original caption for the picture). They were also about the same age. Based on family resemblance, I am guessing that the Bill on the right is William B.'s son, and the Bill on the left is Edwin's.
