These are links to pictures of tombstones of descendants of Patrick Wickham (1839-1922) and his wife Margaret Doyle (1839-1918). Patrick was born in County Antrim, Ireland, the son of Patrick W. Wickham and Cecelia Pryor. His family emigrated to the United States in several installments in the 1850's, Patrick came over with his father and two younger siblings in 1858. His family settled in Council Bluffs, Iowa, spending the rest of their lives there. Patrick left Iowa to go west after his marriage, spending a short time in Colorado before coming to Boulder Valley, Montana about 1865 where he bought a farm and lived the rest of his life.
Listed here are also gravestones for Gordon A. and Eileen (McCauley) Sweeney, of Council Bluffs. Gordon was the son of Dennis and Anna (Coyle) Sweeney. Eileen's mother was Veronica Wickham, the daughter of James J. and Bridget (Keating) Wickham. A few of her Wickham uncles are listed below.

Edward was the oldest of Patrick W. and Cecilia (Pryor) Wickham's six children who emigrated to the United States. (They had four more children who probably died in Ireland.) He was born in County Leitrim, Ireland and came to the US in about 1854 with his mother, the first members of the family to emigrate. He worked as a brick mason, and did not marry.(Wickham) Lacy, Ann (1847 - 1870)
Ann was the youngest of Patrick W. and Cecilia (Pryor) Wickham's six children who emigrated to the United States. (They had four more children who probably died in Ireland.) She was born in County Leitrim, Ireland and came to the US in 1858 with her father and two brothers. She married Patrick Lacy in 1868. Ann died about two weeks after giving birth to their second child, Andrew; he also died as an infant. Patrick remarried and had 9 more children with his second wife, Mary Ann Fee.Wickham, Thomas (1874 - 1875)

Thomas and Joseph were sons of James J. Wickham and his third wife Bridget Keating. Thomas was the first and Joseph the fourth born of their 14 children. Thomas was about 11 months old when he died, Joseph was less than 3 months old.Wickham, John Joseph (1875 - 1944)
John was the son of James J. Wickham and his third wife Bridget Keating, the second of their 14 children. He worked in the family contracting business, and does not appear to have married.Wickham, James P. (1869 - 1926)
James was the son of James J. Wickham and his third wife Bridget Keating, the fifth of their 14 children. He worked in the family contracting business. He married Mary A. Thome in about 1903, they had four children. James and Mary died within seven months of each other in 1913, when their youngest child was about two years old and their oldest nine. The children were raised by their paternal grandmother, Bridget (Keating) Wickham.(Thome) Wickham, Mary A. (1882 - 1913)
Mary Thome was born in Iowa, the daughter of Peter Toma/Thome and Susan Engle of Germany. There are other Thome burials in this cemetery, I do not know if or how they are related to Mary.Sweeney, Gordon Anthony (1916 - 1944)
Gordon was the son of Dennis A. and Anne (Coyle) Sweeney. He married Eileen McCauley in September 1943. Gordon was a corporal in the army, and died while stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky only seven months after their marriage. See his obituary and death certificate.(McCauley) Sweeney, Eileen T. Eileen was the daughter of Charles W. and Veronica (Wickham) McCauley, and the wife of Gordon A. Sweeney. He died seven months after their marriage, she did not remarry.
