 Obituary of Ellen Gilligan DeVaney (sister-in-law) stated sister's husband was William Gahagan of Austin MN.
He married Mary GILLIGAN (16436), daughter of Michael DONAHOE/DONAHE and Ellen FITZPATRICK (16461), step daughter of William GILLIGAN (3023) , in the fall of 1878 after Mary Donahue moved to Austin, MN.  Mary was born in Ohio and William GILLIGAN and Ellen DONAHOE were married 30 November 1858 in Edgar County, IL.  Mary was living with William and Ellen in 1860 in Stratton Township, Paris Post Office, Edgar County, IL.
He died on 25 February 1908 at Austin, Mower, MN, US.
He was buried on 29 February 1908 at Calvary Cemetery, Austin, Mower, MN, US.

            2.  Kenneth GAHAGAN (16984) LIVING-adopted son, biological son of Herbert Lynn
                 Gahagan and Cora Sophie Bothum.

              She died on 31 October 1906 at Inflammation of the Bowels, MN, US, at age 23.  (She was a
              teacher)

         C.  Mae GAHAGAN (16967) was born Nov. 1883 at Dell Rapids, SD, US.
               She died on 28 January 1970 at Austin or St. Cloud, MN, US. (She was a nurse)
               She was buried on 30 January 1970 at Calvary Cemetery, Austin, Mower, MN, US.

         D.  Joseph GAHAGAN (16969) was born in December 1885 at SD, US.
              He appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 at Austin, Mower, MN, US.
              He died on 24 October 1928 at Milwaukee, WI, US, at age 42.
              He was buried on 27 October 1928 at Calvary Cemetery, Austin, Mower, MN, US.

         E.  Alice Frances GAHAGAN (16970) was born on 10 April 1889 at SD, US.
              She appeared on the census of 22 June 1900 at Austin, Mower, MN, US.
              She died on 19 November 1935 at the VA hospital where she was a nurse, at age 46.
              She was buried on 22 November 1935 at Calvary Cemetery, Austin, Mower, MN, US.

         F.  Genevieve GAHAGAN (16971) was born on 22 January 1892 at MN, US.
              She appeared on the census of 22 June 1900 at Austin, Mower, MN, US.
              She married Cleon GIBBONS (16976) on 25 January 1922 at Cathedral Parish
              House, St. Paul, MN, US. She lived in 1935 at Chicago, Cook, IL, US.
              She was buried in 1972 at Calvary Cemetery, Austin, Mower, MN, US.
             She died in 1972 at Austin, Mower, MN, US.  In 1935 she was living in Chicago, IL.

         G.  William GAHAGAN (16972) was born in August 1896 at MN, US.
               He appeared on the census of 22 June 1900 at Austin, Mower, MN, US.
               He died on 18 March 1921 at age 24.

         H.  Glenn GAHAGAN (16973) was born in February 1898 at MN, US.
             He appeared on the census of 22 June 1900 at Austin, Mower, MN, US.
            We know he was still living in 1972 as he was mentioned in the obituary of his
            sister Mrs. Genevieve Gibbons.
