Family Note:   The family sailed for America leaving Gulzar or Pomerania, Germany April 20, 1884, arriving in New York May 6. By train(2 days and 3 nights) to Watertown, Wisconsin. After one year, moved to a farm near Mazeppa, Wabasha County, in Minnesota.
