See pg. 34 of Descendants of Joel W. Thompson for article written on Mar 11, 1920 in the Rockford Register Gazette upon Harriet's 99th birthday. Mrs. Haskell came to Rockford from Twinsburg, Ohio when she was seventeen years old. The trip was made overland in the two big prairie schooners. Her father, Joel Thompson purchased 160 acres of land at Pecatonica, erected a saw mill and log cabin, and the family settled there. Her brother, A.W. Thompson was captain of Company B, 74th Volunteer infantry, during the Civil war. Another brother, Joel, still lives at Pecatonica and a sister, Mrs. Mary Stickney, resides at Potsdam, New York. Her father served in the war of 1812.

Death Note:
Assumed to be Rockford by way of newspaper article written in March just before her death.
