Please send me as much as you possibly know.
Any or all of the information below will be helpful
1.) Name of Parents including mothers maiden name.
2.) Date and place of birth.
3.) Date and place of death.
4.) Spouse or spouses including their maiden name if known.


You MUST include what War or
I won't know where to post your Soldier!!!
You may include, name, date of birth, place, date of death, place, buried, spouse, mother, father etc. Just not a lot about children. Whatever you send is what I will use. If you have a photograph GIF or JPEG only of your Ancestor that would be wonderful too! Please try to include where they enlisted and when and also any military information such as rank etc. If they were in the Civil War, please include Confederate or Union. Please let me know your relationship to your Ancestor and if I may use only your name or include your email address as well. (I have finally learned how to encode your email address so it can not be harvested by spam. I will eventually get all the emails on my website encoded but will encode the new ones I add immediately.)

If you have more than one entry, please send them in seperate emails. I don't want to get them confused. Thank you and send them to me at . As soon as I receive them and make a page for you, I will send the link to you for review. If there are any additions or corrections please let me know so I can make the changes. *Future changes in information may be added at any time. Just a simple email to me with the Ancestors name, which page (the LINK PLEASE) and the additional information and I will be happy to add it for you*. Again, Thank you for allowing me to post your Ancestors. Please bear in mind this is a genealogy website and the entire intent of this site is to help others find their connections thru surnames. Whatever you post here may help you find a Cousin you never met before. So the more information you include concerning the Parents or locations would help the chances of someone finding you thru your posting here.

(1) LOUTISHIE HELTON daughter of JONAS HELTON and MATILDA FORRESTER was born 06 October 1898, and died 14 January 2001. She married ARLEN BROCK 17 March 1916, son of CALVIN BROCK and ESTHER SAYLOR. He was born 30 December 1897, and died 02 March 1981 in Beverly, Clay County, Kentucky.
(2) MATILDA FORRESTER daughter of JOHN WESLEY FORRESTER (1837-1914) and NANCY ELIZABETH HOWARD (1840-1872) was born 02 October 1870 in Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 20 November 1952 in Beverly, Bell County, Kentucky. She married JONAS HELTON Bef. 1888, son of CARLOS HELTON and ELIZABETH FARMER. He was born 13 March 1867 in Leslie County, Kentucky, and died 28 July 1934 in Crate, Bell County, Kentucky.
(3) MARJORIE K HELTON daughter of JONAS HELTON and MATILDA FORRESTER was born 08 March 1899, and died 05 March 1997 in Leslie County, Kentucky. She married (1) JOHNNY BEVERLY KNUCKLES 01 December 1917. He was born 15 September 1882, and died 30 November 1935 in Bell County, Kentucky. She married (2) HENRY BLACK 01 February 1941. He was born 01 April 1882, and died 23 July 1990 in Bell County, Kentucky.

CIVIL WAR ANCESTOR

WASHINGTON JEFFERSON "JEFF" SANDERS was my gg-grandfather. He was born 12 Dec 1835 in Leake County, Mississippi. He died 28 May 1918 in Kosciusko, Attala County, Mississippi. He is buried in Bethel Independent Methodist Church Cemetery, Attala County, Mississippi. He was married to Amanda Gentry. She was born 4 Sep 1846 in Kosciusko, Attala County, Mississippi and died 7 Oct 1912 and is buried in Bethel Ind. Methodist Church Cemetery, Kosciusko, Attala County, Mississippi. Jeff Sanders was a member of Company C 6th MS Infantry CSA. This company was also known as the "Bloody Sixth". Click here for the home page for the bloody sixth. Listed as Private Jeff W Sanders, he mustered in for state service at Carthage, Mississippi on 07/21/1861 and for Confederate service at Grenada, Mississippi on 08/24/1861. He was with Quitman Southrons (Leake County).
