     Willard Eddy was born on 26 January 1760 at Glocester, Providence Co., RI.¹ He was the son of Enoch Eddy and Hannah Lippitt.¹ Willard Eddy Willard Eddy is my 3rd Cousin, five times removed. He was a Revolutionary War Soldier in the Battle of White Plains, October 1776. He then joined the navy and was captured in May 1780 by the British off Charleston, South Carolina, freed, and dischrged June 29, 1780. He went to Unadilla, Otsego County , New York about 1795. He later lived in Sherburn, then Richfield, Otsego County, New York.      Enoch Eddy Enoch Eddy is my 3rd Cousin, five times removed. He moved in the winter of 1799-1800 from Wallingford, Vermont to Rutland, Jefferson County, New York, which he named for Rutland, Vermont. In 1831, he moved to Pamelia, New York.      John Howland was born on 14 January 1743/44 at Swansea, Bristol Co., MA.¹ In circa 1768,John Howland lived at Gloucester, Providence Co., RI.¹ He married Lois Eddy, daughter of Enoch Eddy and Hannah Lippitt, circa 1768.¹ John Howland "He was a Revolutionary War soldier." - Herman William Tripp--Remembering---- circa 1778 at Newport, Newport Co., RI.¹ He died in May 1825 at Knoxville, Tioga Co., PA, at age 81.¹

     Thankful Evans married Zachariah Eddy, son of Enoch Eddy and Hannah Lippitt, before 1803.¹

     Dorcas Matthewson was born on 7 December 1762 at Johnston, Providence Co., RI.¹ She married Willard Eddy, son of Enoch Eddy and Hannah Lippitt, on 11 December 1782.¹ Dorcas Matthewson died on 5 April 1847 at Monticell, Richfield, Otsego Co., NY, at age 84.¹

     John Stone John Stone was from Glocester, Providence County, Rhode Island.¹ He was born in 1761.¹ He married Hannah Eddy, daughter of Enoch Eddy and Hannah Lippitt, on 10 September 1778 at Glocester, Providence Co., RI.¹

     Mehitable Tayer was born on 26 February 1739/40.¹ She was the daughter of John Tayer and Mary Thurston.¹

     Abraham S. Hallett married Eliza Wanton Thurston, daughter of John Thurston and Abigail Robinson, on 25 November 1808.¹

     Mehitable (?) was born circa 1683 at ME.² She married Job Tripp, son of Peleg Tripp and Anne Sisson.

     Jonathan Slocum was born on 1 May 1733 at East Greenwich, Kent Co., RI.¹ He married Ruth Tripp, daughter of Isaac Tripp and Susannah Spencer, on 23 February 1757 at Warwick, Kent Co., RI.¹ Jonathan Slocum Jonathan Slocum was shot through the head, on his own property by Indians on December 16, 1778. His son William Slocum was shot in the leg while escaping from the same Indians. He carried the shot in his leg with him the rest of his life. Jonathan's lot was bordered by the present Main, Union, Canal, (Pennsylvania Avenue) and North Streets. Jonathan was originally buried in the old grave yard on East Market Street, but was later moved to Hollenback Cemetery. Jonathan, raised a Quaker, never carried a gun and stayed with his family, in his home, during the massacre of July 3, 1778. Two hundred twenty six fellow compatriots were slaughtered and scalped for 10 dollars each.      Sarah Slocum was born on 5 November 1738.¹ She married William Tripp, son of Isaac Tripp and Susannah Spencer, in 1756.¹ Sarah Slocum died on 18 October 1808 at Luzerne Co., PA, at age 69.¹

     James Dean was born on 7 May 1780 at Abington, Luzerne Co., PA.¹ He married Catherine Tripp, daughter of Isaac D. Tripp and Martha Wall, on 28 December 1803 at Susquehanna Co., PA.^1,2 James Dean died on 26 February 1844 at Greenwich Village, Kent Co., RI, at age 63.¹

     Phoebe Tripp was Great-great grandmother of President Warren Harding.¹ She was born on 17 August 1767 at Orange Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of William Tripp and Sarah Slocum.¹ Phoebe Tripp married Amos Harding in 1784.¹ Phoebe Tripp died on 2 November 1844 at age 77.¹

     Priscilla Tripp In 1713 she was unmarried.¹ She was born circa 1669 at probably, Portsmouth, Newport Co., RI.¹ She was the daughter of Peleg Tripp and Anne Sisson.¹
