     Anna Mosher was born on 25 August 1745 at Richmond, Washington Co., RI.¹ She married Benjamin Tripp, son of Judge Job Tripp and Sarah Weeden, on 29 March 1769 at Exeter, Washington Co., RI.¹

     Isaac D. Tripp From MossLJ (Linda) from various sources: Notes for Isaac Tripp: Isaac was a large land owner in the early settlement of Providence, Pennsylvania and was active in its material development. He owned a still house and with his son Stephen built the first grist mill on Leggets Creek. He must have been one of the wealthiest men in the valley judging from the taxes assessed against his property. In 1796 there were 90 taxables in Providence township, which extended from Rix's Gap to Pittston, and Isaac Tripp's tax was $15.89 while the next largest tax was $4.69 (from Hollisters History of Lackawanna Valley, 5th Edition, page 199). It is not known when Isaac settled in the Valley, however his family according to the family records which note the birth place of each child, came to the Valley between 1784 and 1787. It is quite likely that Isaac was there with his father before that date. The will of Isaac Tripp dated April 11, 1804 with a codicil dated August 23, 1806 is on record at Wilkes-Barre in Will Book A, page 84. Letters were granted to his widow, Martha Tripp August 18, 1807. The will declares that he has disposed of his real estate principally by deed of gifts to his five sons: William, Stephen, Amasa, Isaac, and Holden. He accordingly gives his personal estate to his daughters.

     Abiel Tripp married Sarah Mills Hewett at Royalton, Niagara Co., NY.¹ Abiel Tripp was born on 27 June 1780 at Rutland or Clarendon, Rutland Co., VT.¹ He was the son of Abiel Tripp and Jemima Blanchard.¹ Abiel Tripp married Lois Smith in 1824.¹ Abiel Tripp died on 7 February 1861 at Horton, Jackson Co., MI, at age 80.¹

     Henry Dow Tripp From MossLJ from various sources: Notes for Henry Dow Tripp: Henry Dow came to the Wyoming Valley with his father in 1769 as one of the First Forty Settlers. Henry Dow Tripp conveyed Lot 15, 350 acres in Providence to his son Isaac Dow Tripp. The deed recites that the lot had been sold to him by his father and describes the lot as 'the same lot deed to me by my father, Henry D. Tripp,' and as 'the same lot now in the tenure of Stephen Gardner.' There was evidently a dispute between Job Tripp and Henry Dow Tripp concerning the title to Lot 15. In December 1788 Solomon Avery had brought suit against Job Tripp, late of this county (Luzerne) charging that he had with force and arms entered into one messuage and full right of land in Providence (Lot No. 15 adjoining Lot 16, northerly belonging to Gideon Roberts southerly Lot No. 14, owned by Isaac Tripp and containing 400 acres, 20 acres arable land and the rest woodland) which 'Henry Dow Tripp, Gentleman devised for a term not expired to Solomon Avery, and ejected him.' In 1790 Henry Dow Tripp was a resident of New York City and according to the Federal Census of that year, had then in family, living at home, himself, one male over 16 and one female. The only child of Henry Dow Tripp was probably their son Isaac Dow Tripp.¹ He was born circa 1729.¹ He was the son of Isaac Tripp and Sarah Dow.¹ Henry Dow Tripp married Zeruiah Kenney on 19 November 1765 at Morristown, Morris Co., NJ.¹ Henry Dow Tripp died after 26 August 1819 at perhaps, New York City, New York Co., NY.¹

     Sarah Tripp was the daughter of Benjamin Tripp and Elizabeth (?).¹

     Mary Tripp was born at Oswego, Oswego Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Tripp and Elizabeth (?).¹

     Deborah Tripp was born on 31 March 1780.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Tripp and Elizabeth (?).¹ Deborah Tripp married Benjamin Wright on 29 September 1799.¹ Deborah Tripp died on 15 February 1821 at Foster, Providence Co., RI, at age 40.¹

     Abiel Tripp was born on 19 July 1780.¹ He was the son of Palmer Tripp and Isabel (?).¹ Abiel Tripp married Ruby Hammond on 4 January 1819 at Bridgewater, Windsor Co., VT.¹

     Elizabeth Tripp was born on 2 July 1783.¹ She was the daughter of Palmer Tripp and Isabel (?).¹

     Ruth Tripp was born on 2 October 1786.¹ She was the daughter of Palmer Tripp and Isabel (?).¹

     Phebe Tripp was born on 7 April 1790.¹ She was the daughter of Palmer Tripp and Isabel (?).¹

     Elizabeth Tripp was born on 6 March 1763 at Pomfret, Windham Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Isaac D. Tripp and Martha Wall.¹ Elizabeth Tripp died on 21 March 1843 at age 80.¹

     Polly Tripp was born on 5 May 1765 at East Greenwich, Kent Co., RI.¹ She was the daughter of Isaac D. Tripp and Martha Wall.¹ Polly Tripp married John Gifford on 12 December 1782 at Bangall, Dutchess Co., NY.¹ Polly Tripp died on 1 April 1858 at Bergen, Genesee Co., NY, at age 92.¹

     William Henry Tripp He married twice, the second time to an unknown, which bore him Jacob, Issac and Catherine. This according to Gib Reed; second spouse also mentioned by Mrs. Moss
From Mrs. Moss from various sources: William sold his land in Luzerne County and moved to Ohio, settling near Steubenville in 1824. He was fatally injured in 1836 when a yoke of oxen which he was driving ran away and he was thrown under the wheels, causing internal injuries.¹ He was born on 11 July 1767 at East Greenwich, Kent Co., RI.¹ He was the son of Isaac D. Tripp and Martha Wall.¹ William Henry Tripp married Catherine Holbert circa 1797 at Steubenville, Jefferson Co., OH.¹ William Henry Tripp died in 1836 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.¹

     Amasa Tripp From MossLJ from various sources: Notes for Amasa Tripp: Amasa sold his portion of his inherited Luzerne County land and moved to the frontier of civilization at that time locating at Leroy, Genesee County, New York. The land that he sold for a trifling sum would now bring a fortune, as it was some of the best coal land in the Lackawanna Valley.¹ He was born on 8 April 1774 at East Greenwich, Kent Co., RI.¹ He was the son of Isaac D. Tripp and Martha Wall.¹ Amasa Tripp died in July 1819 at Leroy, Genesee Co., NY, at age 45.¹

     Catherine Tripp was born on 22 April 1784 at Rhinebeck, Dutchess Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Isaac D. Tripp and Martha Wall.¹ Catherine Tripp married James Dean on 28 December 1803 at Susquehanna Co., PA.^1,2 Catherine Tripp died on 25 April 1861 at Abington, Luzerne Co., PA, at age 77.¹

     Holden Tripp was born on 22 November 1787 at Providence, Lackawanna Co., PA.^1,2 He was the son of Isaac D. Tripp and Martha Wall.¹ Holden Tripp died on 21 June 1824 at Providence, Lackawanna Co., PA, at age 36.^1,2

     Nancy Tripp was born on 21 January 1793 at Providence, Delaware Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Isaac D. Tripp and Martha Wall.¹ Nancy Tripp married Isaac Vaughan on 15 February 1810.¹ Nancy Tripp died on 24 November 1879 at age 86.¹

     Isaac Vaughan was born on 2 January 1787.¹ He married Nancy Tripp, daughter of Isaac D. Tripp and Martha Wall, on 15 February 1810.¹ Isaac Vaughan died on 5 August 1873 at age 86.¹

     Sarah Mills Hewett married Abiel Tripp, son of Abiel Tripp and Jemima Blanchard, at Royalton, Niagara Co., NY.¹ Sarah Mills Hewett died in 1823.¹

     Bridget Tripp was born circa 1759.¹ She was the daughter of Peregrine Tripp and Susannah Sherman.¹ Bridget Tripp married John Moxie on 14 February 1779 at Richmond, Washington Co., RI.¹

     James Munsell Bullis was born in March 1838 at NY.^3,4 He married Mary Ruby Martin, daughter of Nathan Nettleton Martin and Lydia Butts, on 16 August 1862 at Binghamton, Broome Co., NY.^2,1 James Munsell Bullis and Mary Ruby Martin appeared on the census enumerated 26 August 1870 at Binghamton, Broome Co., NY, with Clarence S. Bullis living in the same household.³ James Munsell Bullis and Mary Ruby Martin appeared on the census enumerated 10 June 1880 at Butternut Street, Binghamton, Broome Co., NY, with Clarence S. Bullis living in the same household.⁵ James Munsell Bullis and Mary Ruby Martin appeared on the census enumerated 9 June 1900 at 270 Vestal Avenue, Binghamton, Broome Co., NY, with Clarence S. Bullis living in the same household.⁴ James Munsell Bullis died on 14 April 1905 at Binghamton, Broome Co., NY, at age 67.^6,7 He was buried in 1905 at Glenwood Cemetery, Binghamton, Broome Co., NY.⁷

     Elizabeth (?) married Benjamin Tripp, son of Abiel Tripp and Deborah Cleveland.
