Article from the Sioux County Herald
Orange City, Iowa
November 23, 1898

County Attorney Olmsted last week filed an information against Mrs. Alice A. Blood of Hull and she was released on $5,000 bail being furnished. A committee of medical experts consisting of Drs. Wheeler of Sioux City, De Bey of Orange City and Cram of Sheldon were asked to examine Mrs. Blood as to her sanity and did so on Thursday. Their report will doubtless be made to the court. Further comment on this extraordinary case is now out of place pending its adjudication by the court.
